Oakheart : dark reddish-brown with amber eyes, Bluestarâs fling
Stonefur : pale blue-gray with blue eyes, Bluestarâs Son

Rainflower : pale grey, Oakheartâs mother
Shellheart : dappled gray, Oakheartâs father
Iâm gonna start with the fact that âblueâ and âgreyâ arenât really different, blue mostly just means gray without any tabby markings or anything and itâs usually breed specific, Silver on the other hand should not be confused with gray, then there is the solid/tabby confusion and the white spotting issue, Also Iâm really confused about how Oakheart got that chocolate,
accurate family tree
Nothing too off about the top half, we do just have to roll with the assumption that Rooktail carries the dilute gene and he and Stormtail are blue eye dominant, first off Moonflower is not silver, the Silver gene cannot be âsilently Carriedâ you are either silver or you are not, only silver can produce silver and daisytoe is described as gray not silver, so moonflower can be gray or black but she cannot be silver.
secondly, Oakheart probably isnât a brown tabby, itâs not technically impossible but the whole Appledusk thing is messy and we donât have any information on Rainflowerâs side so Iâm calling him gray, itâs not like his genetics make much of an difference, if he wasnât gray then he wouldnât have that diluted gene and thus Mistystar and Stonefur could be either gray or black but still no chocolate.
But now I should probably get to Snowfur. thatâs not how white spotting works, you know all those âthe printer ran out of colorâ jokes? It works in reverse, Mama ran out of white. Daisy had a little leftover for Moon, and Moon had even less to give to Snow. The same applies to Whitestorm. But thereâs still a way to get around thisâŚ
colorpoint
Now Iâll admit I donât have much experience with color point breeds, but I do believe they can be silently carried and itâs temperature sensitive, kits start out with quite a bit of white and then slowly gain more color as they age.
