A love that can be written in a book forever

Lovers can pick up and read for their pleasure

A love so kind and enduring

Not even the waves can stop it from burning

I want a love so sweet, not even candy could compete

But yet here I am, still searching from within my heart

Like the life I imagine is too good

Holding my thoughts to myself in order to be liked

By people who wouldn’t know wrong from right

Appropriation seems to be the thief of individualism

Like the world is a prison

Holding us back from being free

Because we have to live up to an image others wants us to be

I’m so tired of pretend

I wish it would end

A new era of expression

The cure to the uprise of depression

Confessions of who we really are turn into professions

Then we’d all be happy

Eventually we will free the nations and ultimately the generations
