Introduction
Greetings, you can call me Yashka. I'm an adult, and I'm diagnosed with ASPD with schizoid features. Essentially, I only have SzPD traits. (Clinicians are unlikely to diagnose two personality disorders here anyway.)
This is a blog for people with SzPD, schizoid traits, and friends or family of people with the disorder. I am willing to give my support, advice, to anyone that seeks it in this blog. However, I may just post asks without saying anything if I doubt I can accurately respond to the ask.
Asks I'm willing to post and answer if I'm able to:
- Vents regarding having the disorder
- Questions about the disorder (what it is, how it affects people, etc.)
- Asking for advice on how to support a friend or relative with SzPD
- Asking for advice on therapy, counseling, with SzPD
- “SzPD culture is” asks
- Questions about how SzPD comorbid with other disorders can look like
- Questions about me and my experiences, if sensible
Asks I'm not willing to post let alone answer to:
- Asking for a diagnosis, or an opinion on what symptoms you're experiencing (“Does this look like SzPD or not?” etc.)
- Demonizing, or stigmatizing any personality disorder, this includes disorders separate from SzPD as well
- Asks from friends or family that are insensitive, sorry not sorry but this place seeks to comfort those with SzPD, not those without
- Asks that don't have to do with SzPD at all, this is a place specifically for people with SzPD
- Anything that has to do with discourse, specifically Tumblr discourse (such as drama between users, syscourse, etc.) I want this place to be peaceful
- Following the previous, anything that has to do with a user that is actively on Tumblr, if noticeable. If you want to shit talk people here (which you can) make it so they don't understand you're referring to them. Preferably, I would like no shit talking here if it's between people that interact with this blog.
To clarify, I'm not a mental health expert nor a professional, but I have experience that makes it possible for me to help other people with the disorder in certain cases. I cannot diagnose you, and I encourage everyone to seek therapy for such things.
That's all, welcome to the blog.
