Last life - Cleo gets backstabbed by BigB and joins the Scottage, then becoming the 3 G’s (Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss)

Double life - Martyn drags Pearl into the nether like literally pushed her into the portal.

Cleo says to Scott that they should ditch their soulbounds and becoming soulmates together. Scott (petty) agrees.

The 4 meet up, Cleo & Scott announce they are ditching Martyn & Pearl. When Pearl gets defensive Cleo sides with Martyn and they all put the blame on Pearl.

Martyn then leaves Pearl alone in the woods.

The 4 all go off and build their bases. Word spreads about Pearl being crazy and such and at fault for everything. Cleo goes behind Scott’s back and tells Martyn when they turn red they’re going to backstab Scott….

The finale: Cleo & Martyns attempt to backstab Scott fails they go and kill Pearl. (Mention Martyn & Cleo don’t get along so this doesn’t end well they just wanted to win)

Cleo knew that Pearl could easily kill her. She also knew that Scott had won last life (Pearl placed 5th) She had to somehow separate Scott & Pearl and did so by Gaslighting Scott…

In this whole process she not only ended up Gaslighting Scott, Martyn, & the other lifers but the ENTIRE fandom as well!

She had seen first-hand how powerful Pearl and Scott were when the two were together in Last Life, if the two teamed up again, they knew they wouldn't have stood a chance to win. That's why she manipulated Scott into the whole 'chosen soulmates' thing to separate them! In a way, she isolated both Pearl and Scott. Pearl, obviously, by cutting her off from the rest of the server and agreeing with the rumours to further ostracise her, and Scott, by cutting off his support system in Pearl (even as she continued to be in-contact with Martyn, quite hypocritically) so he'd have nobody but Cleo to trust or rely on, who, as mentioned, was just gaslighting him to take advantage of him and use him for their own benefit.

Cleo: "This is the best thing for the pair of us... look, look at it this way, you don't have to watch out for me. I've got somebody else watching out for me. I've got somebody else whose willing to lay down their life for me... Do you not want to win, Martyn? Is that what you're saying to me? Maybe you should go and get Pearl. That way we've both got two health bars to go through. If you get Pearl and join up with Ren and BigB, that's three healthbars before it gets to us."

Cleo talks about how she paired up with Scott just so she'd have another healthbar, have somebody willing to die for them and give their life so they wouldn't have to risk her own, because she knows what Scott's like with his allies, even encouraging Martyn to do the same with Pearl... Augh. It's devious and nobody talks about how evil she was in Double Life and how manipulative she was to poor Scott!

Martyn: "You let him speak in your ear! And you let him tell you that I was off not thinking about my soulmate, I was providing-"

Cleo: "Nonono. You say that... but I was the one who brought it up first."

Martyn: uncharacteristic, shocked silence.

Cleo: "You can blame him all you like. But no. I was the one who mentioned the fact that you were galavanting away and we should just join up. That's me."

scott lures pearl into the voidnet. the obvious play here would be to have his sword out to hit her off the edge when she comes after him, because otherwise, he's dead meat. but he doesn't. he has his shield out.

he even had his sword out on instinct initially before purposefully switching to a shield because he realised if he hit her off the edge she'd die. he's in a dead end; if he doesn't hit her off the edge here there's here nowhere for him to run to. she would be able to just kill him and he would die. yet he's taking the risk of dying just because he doesn't want to hurt her even when she's his enemy and has been trying to kill him constantly. AUGH....

the fact he has no intent to kill her nor does he even have his sword out to hit her off with makes the conversation hey have only all the more ironic:

Scott: Do you wanna — do you wanna risk it? Pearl: I don't think I want to, I think you'll easily just hit me off into the void, I'm not that — I'm not — well, I might be dumb, but I'm not that dumb!

pearl is scared to go after scott because she thinks he'll knock her off into the void with his sword and permakill her. scott says that if she goes after him he'll knock her off into the void with his sword and permakill her.

what do you mean he had the PERFECT opportunity to get rid of the red name who has been trying to kill him this entire episode and, instead of knocking her off, he jumped the diagonal so he'd hit her straight-on so she specifically wouldn't fall into the void and die.

Scott: You're lucky I didn't [hit you off]! I thought about it, though...
