Hermit a Day May 31: Cleo

Cleo was born into the clowder, but has done her fair share of roaming after earning her artisan title. She likes visiting surrounding groups and picking up tips on things like pot-making and tanning, learning different methods and adjusting her own to make the best quality items she can. They and Joe are close, they having met him before he even officially joined the Hermit clowder and being a good reason for him to settle there. When she's around, she will sometimes step in and mediate where Grian has failed, her sharpness and straight-to-the-point attitude helping to solve problems faster than they may shake out on their own.

Hermit a Day May 30: Gem

A skilled tracker and well-rounded warrior, though young, Gem has more than proven her worth to the clowder. She was tossed out by her housefolk after sustaining a burn from the fireplace and was found by the Hermit clowder and welcomed in. She is determined to do all she can for them in return, even more so since Skizz gave his life for her. She's glad that Impulse can still talk with him, but it makes her pelt itch to think about whenever he brings him up...

Hermit a Day May 29: Bdubs

Bdubs was quite happy as a housecat, thank you very much, but those darn wildcats were always poking around his yard looking for some-or-other plant or asking after such-and-such cat who may have visited, so really it's their own fault that he's shacked up with them now! He befriended Etho on his many trips by his garden for the occasional herb or gossip so, when Etho's friend Doc turned up hurt, the least he could do was guide them to the wildcats. ...And so what if he decided to stay? It's just good to stretch your legs and be appreciated sometimes.

Hermit a Day May 27: Grian

Grian spent the first couple years of his life hopping between local groups, having been separated from his family by some natural disaster - he seems to change it every time. For this reason he seems to have friends everywhere, but he found his home in the Hermit clowder after having a poor run-in with another group that he had visited before. The experience shook the remaining desire to explore and roam out of him and he graciously accepted a place with the Hermits, saying he had always been good at resolving conflict and could serve as a mediator. This turned out to not be entirely true, as his strong personality tends to interfere with one-on-one mediation in a way that usually leaves both parties confused, but he is quite good at motivating and organizing larger groups. When Hypno is gone, Grian likes to step up and help organize patrols, proving surprisingly adept at it.

Hermit a Day May 26: Impulse

Impulse and Skizz, despite not being from the same litter, were littermates in every other sense of the world. So when Skizz died in the same battle that Impulse lost his tail, he was devastated. Except, as it turns out, Impulse has a rare quirk - he can see ghosts! As much as he claims that Skizz annoys him and keeps him from sleeping at times, he's eternally relieved that he can still hang out with his best friend. Hopefully he never sees any other ghosts...

Hermit a Day May 25: Tango

Tango's pelt practically glows in the sunlight which he says it what makes him such a poor hunter. Nobody is complaining though, as he is the expert when it comes to the camp's defenses and upkeep, being to the camp walls what Pearl is to the forest underbrush and Keralis to the dens. It's a near-constant effort, but one that he maintains proudly - anything to keep his clowder safe. Though he has gotten in trouble a few times for getting a bit too artsy with the exit tunnel... nobody wants to do a maze to leave camp.
