"They are not the cowering wretches we were promised. They stand. They are unruly, and therefore cannot be ruled. To challenge them is to court death." ~ The Other, The Avengers (2012)

Motivational Marvel: Character transformations, and the words that inspired them to summon the best of their being, at pivotal moments. *click pics to read
Personally, my go-to quotes, when I'm feeling down. Hope this helps someone else, too. Not a perfect set, but at least I figured out how to do it. I'm pleased with that, at the least.
Have a good evening.
I have never related to a comic so personally beforeÂ
Every line a knife in the truth.
Napping.
I'm leaving this here as my present status.
I really like that thought about what type of person would be reincarnated reincarnated as a cat. Never heard of that before; it's nice and kinda heartwarming >.<
I also like to think dogs were genuinely good people in a past life, and that's why they're generally good-natured, from the get-go. Maybe they always wanted someone to love, and now they get that chance, and that's why they're so loyal.

Warlock by Keenan Marshall Keller.
This makes me laugh so hard, because it's so accurate.
my new siamese kitten came inside for the first time today
I like to think cats were people in a past life - who never got enough sleep or rest, because they put everyone else first. So, "cat" is retirement.
The Turkish company Pugedon has recently introduced a vending machine thatâs an innovative way to help both the environment and our furry friends. It releases food for the cityâs stray dogs and cats every time a plastic bottle is deposited, and it allows people to empty their water bottles for the animals as well.
This wonderful service operates at no charge to the city because the recycled plastic pays for the cost of food. So, with a little financial investment, the simple machines do a lot of good. They provide a steady source of sustenance to the animals, many of which rely on caring residents to regularly feed them. It also encourages people to make a habit of recycling and help conserve our environment for future generations.
Put these everywhere
EVERYWHERE.
can you not delete my artist comment. its incredibly rude to delete my comments...just to let you know
most artist are just tumblr artist i usually delete credits and say what i want because when it comes down to it sure itâs your art there shouldnât be a rift in tide over deleting it any who i appriciate your art never the lessÂ
hereâs the thing:
you wrote âplayboyâ because well thatâs what you felt like and wrote âplayboyâ
But my problem is that I dont want people to get confused with two different text post (which one is actually the original title while the other one is just a random word you came up with looking at my art).
Also its incredibly rude to delete credits and most artists arenât JUST tumblr artists, they are tons of professional artists/illustrators/or an art student, who makes art and they make an income out of their freelance art.
So please be respectful to illustrators.
Iâm gonna say this as nicely as I can, because there is no such thing as âjust a Tumblr artist.â They are artists. Anyone who makes art is an artist, and you donât scrape their signature off paintings and you donât remove credit, online.
If you didnât make the art:
Give the artist credit, leave the credit. Their name is all they have, when they share their art with the world, and the art leads back to the creator.
Itâs like posting the music of your favorite song, and conveniently the lyrics just drop from hearing.
We want to hear the artist sing, I donât care if you just like the tune and donât care for the lyrics. Leave the credit so we can find the artist whose art we enjoyed.
read my post more clearly before you go off on your tumblr essay about how this and that goes obviously i could care less about your music refreemce to make yourself seem hip your not hip stay humble i know alot more of whats going on ringht now then you can imagine your on tumblr you are an artist⌠TUMBLR + ARTIST = TUMBLR ARTIST as soon as you post anything on here itâs tumblrs donât write wrote you donât know.
Iâm not concerned with âsounding hip.â I literally post comics, art I make, literature refs, dorky jokes, and history, etc. I wear glasses and comic book tee shirts every day, sometimes with paint stains on them. Sometimes I run a brush through my hair. I donât care if I look or sound hip. I sound like me, and that is all. I simply see what youâve done exactly as I expressed it - you clipped the art, it lost an aspect of its quality and what makes it enjoyable. It is like cutting off the last portion of a painting, wherein there is a signature. Itâs like taking the meaning out of a song.
The art by Tumblr artists does not belong to Tumblr. The artists retain ownership. Posting the work online allows Tumblr the license for distribution, in the form of reblogs. That is literally in the posting guidelines, which is one of the reasons I chose to publish my work on Tumblr.
Uploading work online does not validate a creator as an artist - the fact that they create art validates them as artists. There is no such thing as âjust a Tumblr artist.â
The license allows for users to alter the comments on content; the artist asked that you retained her comment for credit and context, thereby indicating that she didnât appreciate the work taken out of context and would like credit for her effort and creation. Wherein the comment is part of the art posted. Art galleries even publish an artistâs statement in support or explanation of their work - this is something that is standard in publishing and circulating the work of artists. She simply asked that you not remove her comment, and you defended your removal with âyouâre just a Tumblr artistâ - and I disagree with that opinion. There is no such thing as âjustâ a Tumblr artist. Posting their work on Tumblr does not in any way diminish their efforts or achievements, or right to their work, which is what your comment implies.
As you have requested that I âstay humbleâ - I humbly request that you reconsider your position. Courtesy to artists costs nothing, deviates from no respectable social norm, their comments donât take up any more room on your blog than their work does, and consideration for the creator can only endear you to the artist and the members who would like to know the source of the work and what they have to say about it, when they post it.
You may feel defensive and angry, at the moment, but my original statement is simply - we like the artists, we want to support them, we want to hear what they have to say about their art especially when itâs relevant to a particular piece/post and leads back to their blog, so we can see more of the work and others that pertain to it, without having to trace its origin.Â
That may not be hip, but itâs considerate, and courtesy will never go out of style.
Have a good day.
