Correction to my last entry, it does not wish to cause me fear, at least that’s not its main purpose. It wants me to cause fear in others. As someone who can be described as a hero, this is not a goal I share with this entity. Though, I suppose I do strike some fear in my enemies. No, this thing’s intentions are purely malicious, and I must put a stop to this at once. Wait, if this is the fear of being watched, then would that mean there are others? I don’t know how but there are dangerous fear-based entities within this universe that were not here previously. I can only hope to subdue them before things go awry.

I know what it is now. I did not before, and I did not learn this information, but I know what is haunting me, and no, it isn’t the ghost dog. I have come to learn that it is called The Eye, The Beholding, The Ceaseless watcher, it has many names but it’s clear what it is. It is fear. The fear of being watched and known and it is here going after me. Perhaps, it’s because I’m the Sorcerer Supreme. No, it’s because I rely on an artifact that reveals truths and knowledge and is shaped like an eye and because I just have so much knowledge about the unknowable and the explanation is something I know as a fact despite never learning this. I will not give into the fear that this thing so desperately wants.

Something strange has happened recently. Stranger than usual, I mean. I was meditating when I suddenly felt a presence, like I was being watched. I had looked around but nothing was out of order, other than the general feeling that something was off. Hoping I could get to the bottom of things, I tried using the Eye of Agamotto, but that caused the feeling to worsen, like the all-seeing nature of the eye was turned unto myself. Then I saw it. I’m unsure what it is I saw only that it knows, and that its knowledge is horrible and that it saw me as well. I’m not one to write journals, but I feel as though this is important, like I must record this in full.
