These instances in recent Pokémon games with characters like Lacey and Drayton and now Ansha where previously established characters who had never mentioned to be parents are revealed to have children or grandchildren- well, it’s clear that real reason is that they the writers didn’t come up with the idea to give them these relatives until recent games, LOL- but in a funny way this turns into interesting writing. It actually does make perfect sense that these characters who are very famous in-universe wouldn’t talk about their children- celebrities and people in the public eye in real life do the same thing all the time, in order to protect the safety and privacy of their children. I remember a certain internet famous indie musician a few years back who had a child but didn’t announce her birth on social media until nearly a full year later- and he’s “just” an indie figure. I can’t imagine how it must be the child of a famous celebrity. And I think the tension inherent in that family dynamic would be really interesting to explore!

Legends Z-A has been extremely generous with having interactions between many different combinations of characters, especially in the DLC, but there's one glaring exception: from what I can remember, Corbeau and Emma don't have any one-on-one interactions! It's really surprising considering the fact that their backstories are pretty similar: they both grew up on the streets of Lumiose, they both were taken under the wing of an older man, both of them have ties to Team Flare and complicated feelings towards a Team Flare-affiliated man... they even both accidentally became the "boss" of a gang. And considering they both seem to be around the same age, I'd bet they would have known each back from when they were homeless. The idea of them possibly being friends back then and then walking two completely different paths of life seems really fascinating to me, and it'll be sad if it really never is explored.
