yeah i had to look that up as well. but that’s a dope an important concept as well
Apology language? I gotta look into that.
Interesting! Another thing learned.
Though I’m not surprised. I need five things in an apology.
A) recognise what you’ve done
B) acknowledge what it did to me
C) fucking apologise (lotsa people think simply expressing a) or b) was enough, it’s not)
D) ask for what you can do to make it up to me (don’t ask for my forgiveness - that’s up to me to decide if and when I forgive (plus it makes an apology sound terribly self-serving))
E) let’s talk about avoiding the same in the future
gonna start implementing this
Interesting 🤔 I never thought about apology language but honestly that’s just as important as knowing how your potential partner handles grief and anger
