Anyone else noticing theres no websites anymore. You never go to website.com anymore its always some bullshit like "go to the smeeple app store and download the flubi app" i dont want toooo what ever happened to websites. I do not like it

man having your life even a little bit together will really make you realize how chronically sleep-deprived and poorly fed and under-enriched everyone is and then when they turn to you to implicitly agree that that's just the natural state of existing you feel like the asshole for being like "actually I think you might benefit from eating breakfast regularly and picking up a new hobby"

We've not only taken away all of the physical spaces for our children to exist in, we're now taking away the electronic ones as well. I'm sure this won't have any negative consequences.

Playing Homestuck police is good for a laugh, but at some point we've got to acknowledge that it's a sufficiently influential piece of media that some portions of its distinctive jargon have in fact entered the broader vernacular. There are people out there who refer to visual novel style dialogue portraits as "talksprites" who've never heard of Vriska Serket.

It's really funny that most of the Hellaverse reactions to the recent news have been "neat" or "I don't know what Homestuck is" while the primary reaction I've seen from the Homestuck reaction is comparable to a parent finding out their only child has a terminal illness

Hyperindividualism is a rancid infection borne of capitalism and willfully misinterpreted therapyspeak and I will defy it by continuing to be kind regardless of whether or not it benefits me personally

when i first heard about the male loneliness epidemic i was like oh yeah close camaraderie and bonding between men is often discouraged in favor of competition or, if not discouraged, at least filtered through a lens of individualism that precludes deep connections. and then i learned what people meant by it (men arent getting laid) to which i say skill issue
