There is a certain power in the fact that she didn’t say ‘fuck’ on the album where she was angry. She waited for an album where she was soft and content and spinning stories instead of reeling from everything that was thrown at her and lashing out. She said something once about never yelling and screaming and not giving people a chance to say you’re crazy. There is so much quiet strength in that.

i think this is truly symbolic of taylor’s development as an artist and as an individual. the fact that she’s releasing music because she wants to, because it’s hers, because she loves it, with no regard for the expectations of others artistically, i’m so happy for her. and i’m still so grateful she’s willing to share it with us.

also, yes, ts8 aka folklore is dropping on july 24th, and yes 7+2+4 does = 13
