seriously please stop making activism a matter of performance. it’s not about how much you post or how much you show others on here that you’re doing something or that you care. stop attacking people just because you think they aren’t doing enough. We’re all trying our fucking hardest. We can’t all donate, we can’t all go to a protest, and we don’t all have the mental space to be constantly looking at so much traumatic shit all the time, especially since a lot of us have been quarantining and stuck at home the past two months. it’s a lot and to tack on top of it all, people are out here policing how others should be acting right now and it’s fucking ridiculous. stop spewing hate into people’s inboxes when you know literally nothing about the person behind the blog or what they’ve done to be supportive of the cause. It’s not a fucking performance of who can be a better activist. Black people are being murdered and your hate-filled energy should be going towards making sure the murderers stop getting away with it, not attacking someone on tumblr or attacking a celeb and acting like everything is their fault. i literally cannot stress this enough but grow the fuck up.
