Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law on this day in 1990 it is 36 years old to today. Today many disabled people look at the Americans with Disabilities Act as a great first step and a stepping stone and believe we could do better by our Americans leaving with disabilities. And we could stand to do better.

Do you think we’re shaped more by our experiences or by who we are? Our experiences wholeheartedly make us who we are… Trials, triumphs and trauma and all.

If you had to be an animal for a week, which one would you be and why? Happy birthday to my cousin Sean! An animal for a week… Just one? A turtle maybe because swimming and water my two favorite things. Or a cat because you can be lazy but also have amazing stamina.

What’s a piece of technology you’re convinced will exist in 20 years? Honestly technology changes so much that I wouldn’t be surprised if it all goes away and something replaced it by 2046.

Which book have you read more than any other? Finding Rebecca and most historical fiction around the Holocaust and world war 2.

Are you a lifelong learner? Absolutely you’re not really living if you’re not learning. I find that I am a tactical, auditorial, and visual learner. Btw it’s Belgian days Sunday and my Uncle Mark birthday! Happy 92md birthday Uncle Mark!

What’s one habit that has improved your life the most? The fact that I don’t blow up as easily.
