Sokka, Katara, Zuko, and Azula have a minecraft server and Azula and Sokka make ornate builds and crazy farms and Katara and Zuko live in a dirt hut and steal their stuff (zuko just likes mining and kataras just bad at video games)

Katara promised herself she'd never use bloodbending again... but sometimes, if Sokka is REALLY getting on her nerves, she'll give him a 3 hour boner

the question of whether bending ability is genetically inherited, endowed by the will of the spirits, or stems from some other inexplicable factor is nebulous & inconclusive. that said, i think a fun & cute aspect of the magic system lore is the idea that benders with mixed ancestry are more naturally talented at certain bending forms that correspond to their auxiliary heritage. like how bolin is naturally prodigious at lavabending, and his mother was a firebender. of course any bender of a certain element has the capacity to master any form that element allows, but certain forms may come easier to certain people due to their blended cultural background. hang on i need to make a spreadsheet
