Saturday and Sunday was a much needed fun weekend! Here is a recap of the what Sam, Sarah, Mike and I did.
Sam and I started the morning off next and relaxing. I got my Dirty 30 workout done first thing, then we had breakfast. Of course, I had my shakeology! After my workout and breakfast, I got ready for the day and also packed for the weekend. Then we finally hit the road! When we got up to Milwaukee we had a late lunch we Sarah and Mike at Horny Goat Brewery. I tried a black bean veggie burger for the first time. I do have to say it was pretty good, however, I do not think I would get it again. I burger patty had black beans, rice and corn. Between the patty and the bun that was all my yellow containers for the day, so that was a little disappointing. Once we were done getting lunch we stopped at the halloween store so that we could get some ideas for costumes. Sarah decided she wants to be Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz and I am going to be Glinda the good witch. Sam is most likely going to be a hot dog again this year. I'm pretty sure I will never be able to get him to give up that stinking thing!
That evening we went out for a night out on the town. We first started at than Irish Bar called Trinity. I atmosphere there was nice and chill. I decided to treat myself to a Bloody Mary and man oh man was I glad I did. It was by far one of the best Bloody Mary's I've had! I probably could have had a few more of those.
After Trinity we stopped at a bar call Pourmen's. They had a really cool concept there where you and group of people can sit at a booth that has a self serve tap system. They ordered 4 different flavors of beer on tap but they are all by the same Brewery. This month they were featuring New Glarus. I don't even like beer, but I couldn't get over how cool this concept was! I was there was something like this in Janesville.
After we got done at Pourmen's we stopped at a few other bars along the way and of course Sam and I had to take some selfies! lol
Once we all finally woke up we has some breakfast that Mike's mom pick up from the bakery. After breakfast all four of us went to this parked called 7 bridges. I can't even describe how beautiful it was! While we were walking around we saw so many families and couples getting pictures take and it was a prefect day to do that. Here a few pictures that I snapped while we were about there.
We then spent the afternoon watching football, then headed back to Janesville. Once we were home I got my work out in, eat dinner and went to bed. I was tried after the busy weekend we had.
