Ugh 😑 I know what you mean. I’ve encountered rude ones in the past who have these attitudes. However I’m not going to be unfair here. I don’t wanna bash the people entirely. I’ve met delightful French people who have been humble. I went dancing with a cool chick from Lyon and had a delightful pen pal from Châtellerault for a couple of years. I also almost had sex with a French man back in Seattle who was actually very nice to me though annoyingly critical of my love of marijuana (that’s why I didn’t meet up with him cause lol like fuck you I love my weed). I mean even though they may seem pretentious, they can be very cordial. They’re not warm like Italians or Spaniards, but they can be very polite even though they’re reserved. Despite the fact that they can seem aggressively Martian/Plutonian to the world with their Sun and Moon, they also are known for finesse and pleasure. They have a Taurus Midheaven (MC is the public stage). They’re known for fashion, gastronomy, art, and romance. Not to mention that France’s natal chart has a Venus in Libra in the 2nd house. Perhaps they’re more palatable to me as a Venus dominant Taurus. That may be why they get along with me more along with the fact that France has a Cancer rising (Cancer energy adores me). Many of them are aware of these flaws that you guys have graciously highlighted but I do agree that perhaps they need to have more self-awareness nationwide for some of the ugly things they’ve been responsible for. They’re a little too in denial of their own flaws all the while unfairly criticizing other cultures such as that of the US. I’ve read many French political commenters paint their country as some paragon of progressivism which is just not true. Scorpio and Aries are both signs known to have excessively inflated egos. Scorpio especially can be very egotistical at its worst since it’s ruled by two egotistical planets at once (Pluto and Mars). That may explain why the French are generalized to be so arrogant, aggressive, and jingoistic. Hopefully more awareness in France will arise regarding colonial injustice on their part. I mean the colonial billing…is mega fucked up. That shit’s gotta stop. That’s not right. The fact that they still demand money from their colonies demonstrates that their government does not accept that their imperialism was wrong. It’s similar to how Switzerland opportunistically stole money deposited by Jews in Swiss banks after WW2 even though they were supposedly “neutral” (not).

Hey so I just feel the need to add this. NEVER deep fry in a shallow pot. What happened here is this person put frozen fries in hot oil, and the hot oil will nearly double in size when you drop something cold in it. Then it overflows out of the pot and you have a grease fire. You should never have oil more than about a third of the way up the pot.
