to see my breath in the cold air. to feel the rain on my face. to inhale and exhale. to feel my lungs fill and expand and empty again. to feel my body warm. to feel my heart pound in my chest. to keep moving. to keep going. to breathe, to breathe, to breathe.

to see darkness turn light, hardness turn soft, to feel my mind clear, to allow my mind to clear.

to return. my breath, slow and steady. to stretch. to reach, and to reach beyond. i can grow taller, the ground can come closer. to hold, and breathe, to be still, and breathe. to be still, and to move at the same time.
