It’s based on your GPA for each semester, calculated after all your grades are in at the end.

Pharm Admin: I lived in 1300 and really loved it but it was the newest dorm when I was a freshman so I dunno what it’s like now. 1940 and J&H are both older dorms and yeah J&H is communal so you gotta weigh those options out.

Pharm Admin: When I was a freshman 7 years ago I came out to every single student I met when I started Temple and never once had anything even close to an issue. I had 3 straight roommates and they were also all super cool with it so I would say don’t worry about the roommate situation. If they don’t like it, they can find a different room easy and that’s not on you at all, that’s their problem. 

Speaking from only my personal experience, I didn’t have many LGBTQ+ friends in undergrad but my major was really lacking in that department and I honestly didn’t try that much. I think overall you’ll be fine, don’t sweat it. If anything I think the environment is even better now than it was in 2010. Just be you anon and know that even if someone is an asshole to you about it, you don’t want to give them any of your time anyway. For every homophobic dickhead, there’s usually 100 really cool people who don’t give a fuck what your sexuality is.

Business Admin: I’m not sure how long they take to process, so you might be able to order them earlier, especially with the holidays coming up. I would ask your advisor if you can order your transcripts before they’re officially ready or not.

Business Admin: The best advice I’ve received for college is that what you major in, doesn’t always mean you’ll have a job in that field. You’re major doesn’t matter once you have experience. The best example I can think of off the top of my head would be someone with a Psychology degree ending up in Management. Don’t get discouraged. You should study what you’re passionate about and be realistic that you may end up in a job unrelated to your degree. The other advice I can recommend is getting an advanced degree. You could have your undergraduate degree in whatever and get your MBA. Just think about that. I wish you the best in whatever you pursue!

Business Admin: Yes! The courses are both 4 credits: KIN 1223 - Human Anatomy & Physiology I with a $20 course fee and KIN 1224 - Human Anatomy & Physiology II with a $25 course fee.

KIN 1223 -

This course is the first of a two-course sequence dealing with the anatomical and functional relationships of the human body. Emphasis is placed on systems integration leading to an understanding of the functions of the human organism. Kinesiology 1223 covers basic structure and function of the body (cells and tissues, organs, systems) through detailed investigations of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. NOTE: To determine if this course in combination with another course can satisfy the GenEd Science & Technology requirement, see your advisor. This course is not equivalent to Kinesiology 1221 (Principles of Anatomy and Physiology I) and cannot be used to replace the grade earned in Kinesiology 1221.

KIN 1224 -

This course is the second in a two-course sequence dealing with the anatomical and functional relationships of the human body. Emphasis is placed on systems integration leading to an understanding of the functions of the human organism through detailed investigations of the endocrine, circulatory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. NOTE: (1) Lab fee required. (2) To determine if this course in combination with another course can satisfy the GenEd Science & Technology requirement, see your advisor. This course is not equivalent to Kinesiology 1222 (Principles of Anatomy and Physiology II) and cannot be used to replace the grade earned in Kinesiology 1222.
