maybe there's a difference between being stabbed and breaking bones? it's inconsistent but not the worst inconsistency ive seen in tv shows ya know?

Of course it isn’t the worst on televison let alone this show, and my theory is that max was stabbed near the heart while clary wasn’t?? and he spent more time without medical attention also the lesions were very different so there’s that.   Healing runes are powerful and basically they can treat anything but mortal wounds, demon poison, objects inside such wound, etc.

The reason why I put plot hole was because the concept itself says that this are and I quote  “ statements or events that contradict earlier events in the storyline” and well I would’ve liked if they had shown how she was heal, or at the infirmary?  every shows has its ups and downs and this for me was a little funny buut they wanted to get the owl!jace caught and that clary/alec moment soo forget that she was dying and too bad to draw a rune lol anyway It’s really important show things instead of saying or not even that in this case.

this is how happened in my mind:

simon  took clary to the institute, they cured her after some commotion...

and of course she then procedes to explain that owl!jace tried to kill her.
