Kid, we are good enough to FRY you!

“Well you’ll get to have plenty of chances to prank others here! It gets pretty boring at times so a little mischief isn’t unwelcome! Heehee!”

-Marx bounces in place before looking out at the fields. The wind was still pretty strong. Flying was going to be difficult but it didn’t take an expert to fly through it now. Hopping up the jester hovers in the air as his wings appear. Grinning at Gryll, Marx wiggles his feet.-

“Good luck with your greetings Gryll! I’m looking forward to have a fellow prankster around!”

Gryll looked at the jester and his wings. They forgot how pretty the color looked on these. It must be nice to have wings like him. “Thank you Marx, I will do my best!”

“Yeah! It was pretty funny! We covered him in paint and got a picture of it! He was pretty mad but I convinced him that there wasn’t any point in killing us! Hehehe! Also Dark Meta Knight is a mirror worlder, so he’ll look like Meta Knight but with more scrapes and tears. Meta Knight is pretty formal and mostly standard knight like, code of honor and other stuff. It’ll be pretty easy to tell them apart when you put them side by side. If you see one of them then you probably should ask them a question so you can figure out which one you’ve run into!”

-Marx giggles but he didn’t want Gryll to think the knights were one in the same. That’s been done already! Plus he was pretty sure DMK didn’t like being compared to MK at all.-

“Okay I’ll try that!” At least, now they have something to know which knight is who. Like that, they will be able to avoid fighting.

“The only  person that may attack you is Dark Meta Knight. He’s pretty much an edgy knight that doesn’t really know how to have a conversation without first trying to stab you in the face. At least that’s what I’ve seen so far. I kinda befriended him, but already burned that bridge up when me and Mags pranked him! Hehehe! But other than that everyone else is fine to talk to!” -Marx smiles, snickering to himself when he thought about the prank.-

“Well, I don’t know who this Dark Meta Knight is, but I’ll be careful. I’m not really the fighter type, so I don’t think I will be able to defend myself.” Gryll chuckled to hide their apprehension. Whoever this knight is, they would rather not meet him. They silently scolded themself for not training. They thought that Popstar was an happy place, with nice people.

-Marx chuckles.- 

“I befriended some of them sure, but only Kirby is friends with all of them! I only know them because of the pink puffball! Well except Magolor, I met him when I was drifting out in space. But yeah! If you want to get to know more people I’d go say hi to Kirby! They’ll show you even more colorful people that I didn’t list! Hehehe!”

“Well let’s see…there’s Kirby and his friends. Bandana Dee will most likely try for fun. Meta Knight might join out of curiosity. King Dedede will join if there’s a prize and if he does then other Dees will other be there. Dunno about Gooey.

You might get some Mirror World people since I’ve been seeing more of them around lately. Shadow Kirby isn’t as friendly as regular Kirby though. Dark Meta Knight most likely wouldn’t join either. Well, not unless he was tricked into playing.

Then there’s the Florian’s in the sky, one of them is Taranza. He’s the leader since the previous one got corrupted. Susie might take an interest though I don’t think she’d play, I know Magolor would take the opportunity to sell stuff. He might join, he likes games! As for the rest they’ll probably come to watch.”

“Pfff, they’re strong at pretty much anything! Like some kind of messiah or something. So I’m not that surprised. Seriously that kid is probably living victory walking around and stuffing their face! But I’m sure they’d love to play the game with you. Actually I’d like to try it out too!

Hey hey hey, maybe you could host a tourney! This place has gotten a bit boring lately and it’s gotten some more people that visit it, so it’d probably get a lot of players!”

“A tourney?” Gryll put a hand on their chin and thought about it. A tourney could be a good idea to show their skills. And since they didn’t know a lot of people, this could be an occasion to meet people who like games, like them!

“Not really. Not unless you have some sort of spell for breaking up the wind! Or got an item or something with the same effect.”

-Marx calms down and walks over to Gryll.-

“Of course! It’s pretty much my job to do that! Not that it’s a problem at least not most of the time. Hehehe! You still playing that stacking game?”

-Marx was sitting under a tree to shield himself from the wind. These were not great flying conditions. He should know he’s tried to fly a few times in this type of weather before and it usually ended with him crashing into something. Just like the witch that crashed right into one of the neighboring trees. Marx watches as they fell into to ground. A loud cackle is let out and his feet wiggle as he laughs.

Yes the jester watched the crash.-

“Nice landing Gryll! A perfect 10! HEHEHE!”

Oh, thank Nova it was only Marx. It would be a way more embarrassing if it was someone they didn’t know. They laughed a bit with him, still a bit awkward but a way less than before. No reasons to be embarrassed in front of a friend.

It was a windy day on Dreamland, the kind of day where nobody dares to fly unless they’re really skilled or really dumb. Despite this, Gryll was flying on their broom, without a care. The witch was literally defying the wind, for some reasons. But, unfortunately, they’re not skilled enough to fly against the wind.
