(Finally looking back at Riku’s hair in 2.8 and comparing it to the KH3 trailer Riku hair) So it seems Riku has in fact cut his hair again before going to the Realm of Darkness save Aqua. (I guess he wants to look his best so he changed up his hairdo XD) But also besides it being shorter and styled a little different…it looks like now his hair is even more purple? Bluish purple? Idk? Maybe it’s just the lighting from being in the Realm of Darkness. Hmmm…. Still… He is beautiful either way. And look at that smile I got on him in those last 2 pictures. So adorable. I am so happy that he is happy.

so you know how every Kingdom Hearts game never ends in a “true” happy ending? it always ends in a bittersweet feeling. no matter how happy the ending, how the “evil” defeated, how we seemingly won, there’s always sacrifice.

yes, the everything is saved, but at what cost?

the destiny trio being separated (again). namine forgotten. roxas, axel and namine losing their beings. xion gone and forgotten. ven losing his heart, aqua trapped in the darkness, and terra possessed. the list goes on.

kinda makes you wonder what kind of “sacrifice“ we’ll have in KH3
