Day 1: Family / Sun and Stars
- write / draw something with her and her family! ma or pa showing her something/teaching her after supergirl saga, lana and her hanging out after her breakup with lex, mae and clark fighting and making up all over again. many options here! you can also do non-traditional family, like her time with the new titans & her friendships with bart & roy, or her relationship with her mentor in elizabeth perske <333
- for the stars, you can talk about her noticing the stars and planets in the main dc universe. the pocket universe doesnāt have any stars as far as i can tell, as the time trapper destroyed all life that wasnāt krypton or earth. (im guessing he kept the sun and moon for earth, but i dont see any stars in the sky in the panels). you can also talk about her time in space after her exile in action comics #644 and her return in panic in the sky. thereās also her time in space with the new titans during siege of zi charam!
Day 2: Kryptonite / Lovers
- probably best to go metaphorical with this one. or maybe mae saves clark from kryptonite?
- lovers! mae has a few potential love interests, most notably lex, draaga, kyle, and linda. fun little opportunity for ship content. alternatively, subvert it, by showing a dynamic that other characters believe is romantic but that isnāt. or, have mae interact with a pair of lovers outside of herself, like she does with clark and lois in action comics #692!
- talk about supergirl saga! have her shift universes again to the modern day! send her to a whole other alternate universe! many opportunities here. also maybe a chance for something more meta, like a general commentary on the evolution of the concept of supergirl and how itās utilised.
- supergirl sagaā¦. also her coming home after panic in the sky, and how sheās detoured from doing so by lex. something there about how lex isolates her, both in how her creator created the circumstances that left her as an orphan of an entire universe, and in how lex 2 controls where she goes and what she does. mae coming home to lindaās home or coming home to the kents after fusing with linda. mae coming home to team superman after time with the titans and liz. many opportunities
Day 4: Alien Biology / Memory
- explore some ideas as to how maeās powers work! does she have any feeling in the things she creates? how are the clothes she makes different from the skin she makes? how does she become completely invisible, even to x ray vision? how far can she push her shapeshifting? how much can she really feel sensory wise, considering her ability to weather extreme temperatures and her forcefield?
- something about how sheās been forgotten, or about how kara was forgotten before her creation. maybe her remembering those sheās lost (draaga, the pocket universe, etc) or reminiscing on those sheās befriended!
Day 5: Mythology / Possible Futures
- in the death and life of superman novelisation by roger stern sheās referred to as the galatea to pocket universe lexās pygmalion. maybe mess around with this! or involve something with linda and her sculpture making.
- possible futures. how might she be brought back? what might storylines post-fusion or post-disappearance be like if she was in her solo form &/or present during them? what might an alternate future be like if she hadnāt come back after panic in the sky, hadnāt fused with linda, or hadnāt disappeared after separating from her? or maybe even if sheād succeeded during supergirl saga and became the primary hero of the remaining human settlements?
- have her meet some of the 90s wonderfam and batfam members! have her hang out with steph or jean paul and cassie sandsmark. let her meet diana! something there about them both being created from a clay (ish) substance.
- sheās got lots of outfits, but what might a cold-weather outfit be for her? she doesnāt feel extreme temperatures, but she still has to blend in. might also be good to come up with other outfits for her other forms, like more yellow outfits for her pink with white hair recovery era form or more grey outfits for her clark era. what might she wear as a member of a lantern corps, or any other kind of hero? what kind of suit would she wear if she focused more on the shapeshifter aspect of herself rather than her supergirl identity? what kind of suit would she wear if she focused more on her invisibility and telekinesis?
