i've said before that i feel like a lot of modern musicals think of musicals too much as "stories where people sing sometimes" without attention being paid to other aspects of stagecraft but i also don’t know how to explain that without sounding insane

I really like when people say “if everyone who whined about lack of f/f sat down and wrote it instead of waiting for someone else to do it, there would be as much as there is m/m” because first of all it fabricates a world where f/f fans aren’t the ones who are making the f/f that exists and second of all it implies that the gap is because fundamentally m/m creators are humble and hardworking while people who like f/f are categorically by nature greedy but unwilling to put in the work
