And he may or may not of had a bad in encounter with Starla when they first met that almost resulted in him being beaten up by her due to how shady he was. And that she thought he was the one who tried to scam her brother.

She is the maid and also bodyguard of Merlee. She had worked for Merlee for many years and she has has quite love for rubees.

She can act sweet and stuff towards guests who come to Merlee for their fortunes. But she is quick to kick out any rude or disruptive ones. As well as intruders.

Anyone is in for a real shock when they see Mimi's true form it sends them running real quick.

Merlee

She's the leader of the Fortune Kingdom. She's not a princess or anything just that the people of the Kingdom believe she's fit to lead them. So she does.

She is kidnapped a lot by Tolstar who at first just did it in order to use her to rule the world with her fortune telling powers but then he gained feelings for her.

She is visited by others of the Kingdom or those from far away to have their fortune read by her. Or be given one by her.

Darcy

He is a hero as well but not as known as his twin sister Starla. He is considered a coward by others or kinda creepy by others. Back before coming to the Fortune Kingdom he was considered different then everyone else which led to bullying which Starla did her best to protect him from it.

He feels negative emotions more easily then his sister apart from anger she feels that a lot more then Darcy. And feels positive ones much harder. Which doesn't help his mistreatment by others.

Starla doesn't have any problem with this. She has problems with people who do. And Starla always tells him that there is nothing wrong with him. He wants to believe her but the others words hurt a lot.

Starla

She's a known hero within The Fortune Kingdom. She usually has to end up saving the Kingdom's leader Merlee from the clutches of Tolstar. She lives in this Kingdom with her twin brother Darcy. She has a bit of a temper that she uses for her fighting skills.

She and her brother are known as The Star Siblings or Star Sibs for short within the Kingdom as well as being known for being plumbers.

And unlike her brother she known to hold grudges against others if they have wronged her or those she cares about in some way

So here's a Mario Swap Au. I'm clinging to what motivation I have to make this cause it makes me feel slightly better. And helps when stuff kinda feels like it sucks and also feeling nothing but anxiety. Anyway! Enough depressing stuff. Heh sorry.
