Being Me.

I'm in my 30s, I'm married and have two babies to love, raise and look after. The body I had in my 20s - I always thought was overweight and gross. Well, I'm proven wrong once again because its now morbidly obese and then some haha.

Let’s talk about boundaries. An easy enough term to understand or so I thought. Boundaries are invisible but uber important in safeguarding familial relationships. It is an understanding that whatever I own or space I occupy belongs to me and if that person wishes to use, borrow or have anything in my space must ask first. A simple enough concept except some people don’t know diddly squat about this sacred term.  

You know, it fucks up my head when my possessions are used and put back without my permission, when my possessions are stolen from me and what I purchased ends up being worn (without my permission) and paraded in front of me as if they bought it themselves.  

I don’t care about the costs, although cost is part and parcel of investment pieces! It’s the blatant disregard and disrespect of my boundaries and a constant reminder that my space and haven is not my own, and any asshole with an agenda can creep into my space and take whatever they want without any consequences.
