eri is a victim of severe abuse and experimentation. she was exploited for her rewind quirk time and time again to the point the poor girl couldn't even find in herself to smile, despite being in a much more safer environment now. she still struggles even after she learned how to smile. she's still healing, and at that point in time, she was still a child learning how to be a child.

kurogiri is canonically an human trafficking victim. he was revived not for a 2nd chance, but for the sole purpose of serving. to have no autonomy. he wasn't even living properly, nor surviving, they revived him just to have their own personal puppet.

the thing that ticks me off, is that eri's arc is essentially about how she was exploited, how that had a severe impact on her psychology and mentality, and how she's still healing from it. i don't like this talk because it is kind of dismissive of what her story tell us.

granted she gave mirio his quirk back, but that is a completely different situation;; mirio lost his powers, kurogiri lost his autonomy ― and that is the point i wanna reach, kurogiri being reverted back to oboro (aka. being reverted back to being a 17 yrs old) would be reductive to his character, and dismissive of what he went through. reverting him back to this innocent, childlike state will not heal what has happened to him. in fact, i think it'll only make it worse, as oboro would have to live with the fact that he's lost an entire decade, and very much definitely learn about his past as kurogiri, in a much more worse scale. (or, maybe, he would still have all his memories as kurogiri, and that would be worse because while he has a child's body, he has the mentality of an adult, a brainwashed adult to make it worse, and do you really think the adults in his life wouldn't treat him like a child despite him not being one anymore, combine that with the fact he used to be a villain and retains the memories of one)

plus, erasing kurogiri's existence its just further stripping him away from any kind of autonomy, if i gotta be honest.

eri doesn't hold much control of her powers either, she managed to give mirio his quirk back because she practiced for that specifically (from what i recall), to revert a 31 years old back to a 17 years old would take a lot of energy, lots of practice, and who knows the consequences of that happening?

not dissing on this concept btw!!! it def has potential, but i think it very much depends on how it's handled, how it is written, because this idea has a lot of implications that, on a surface, does not convey good connotations when you take a look at said characters' stories

overall, this concept is very cool and interesting, it just depends on how some people handles it (and talks about it)

oboro brings a whole bunch of stuff to school if it he deems it convenient; for example. he once brought a large cloud-themed blanket because it was especially cold that day ⸺ he dragged it with him everywhere and even added it as 'special winter cape' into his hero costume, much to the chagrin of his teachers JHSJWH (especially because eVERYTIME he turned around quickly the blanket flew with him and constantly ended up accidentally hitting someone in the face; a large, thick fluffy cloth in the face.) 〞he also shared it with his friends!! so the entire day the infamous three dumbigos of class A all walked around the school with a blanket as big as an actual cloud covering them like little bugs. none of them took into account the rest of the fabric dragging across the floor and tripping several other students even barely near them. 〞adding onto that, THAT was nemuri's first impression of the 3baka (3baka was in their 1st year at that time, only a few weeks after meeting each other) <- she filmed the entire sequence while cackling nonstop (she showed it to eri once when shouta wasn't looking) 〞due to his habits of bringing random things to school, the staff eventually gave up and just let him be. it's not like it was harmful or anything, plus can't really argue when he says it's convenient and he's right jhswjhwskj (definitely told him to tone it down, though. "yes you are allowed to bring a blanket but not one as LARGE as the ffffffufwsf SCHOOL") nezu found it hilarious as hell. in fact He was the one who gave the greenlit

contrary to popular belief, shouta actually Loves pastel and bright colors, often combining it with his usual darker colors in casual clothing. he has no sense of style whatsoever but that doesn't stop him from feeling pretty. 〞sometimes he and oboro matches pastel and dark clothing together (shouta with pastel clothing and oboro with dark clothing) just to throw people off, because to the rest of the world shouta is the goth moon and oboro is the rainbow sky, even to strangers because by first glance you can already Tell the kind of vibes they give off. so seeing them in total contrasting styles to their personalities' drives everyone crazy (this fanart inspired me for this hc!) 〞eventually hizashi was invited to join them by being a mix of the two. no one is particularly impressed by that (he already gives off both), but in all honestly he's just happy to be there

nobody believes it but shouta is just as unhinged and chaotic as the other 3. he just knows how to hide it. his friends know better though 〞because of that, he's considered the most 'sane out of the group, and he just forms the biggest Cheshire grin we are very familiar with jjhws

both nemuri and hizashi are somewhat blind <- pretty sure thats canon, but im thinking up of the type of blindness they have; hizashi is short sighted; myopic. whilst nemuri is far-sighted, hyperopic. (i based it off based on my nearsightness and my dad's farsightness!! :3) 〞hizashi has TONS of spare glasses because his often breaks 'cause of his volume; he eventually got a pair which is flexible and durable enough to not break so easily, so his spare glasses are now just backup (until he grew older because those glasses aren't fit for him anymore lol)

almost everyone that ever met oboro developed a lil' crush on him. puppy love type of crush, never anything serious 〞shouta was the first person to actually fall in love with him, and it lasted even after his 1st and 2nd death. oboro wasn't his first love, but he was the only one who lasted </3 〞hizashi is included in this equation, though his feelings towards oboro aren't exactly necessarily romantic, but definitely close enough to it. (aro hizashi<3)

and last but not least because i wanna post this;; after oboro's death, sometimes hizashi and shouta and occasionally nemuri would go over to the rooftop, and. just. look over at the clouds. reminiscing. quietly. 〞shota&hizashi kind of an awkward silence on the first times they did it together, but eventually came to appreciate each other's presence during that time, especially comforted by how the other just. gets it. they loved him and miss him so much. sharing their pain by visiting their favorite rooftop.
