I wanted to make something clear with my au.

Jax is the primary antagonist. He's not going to be romanticized. He's not going to be enabled. He's not going to be encouraged. He's not going to be forgiven.

He is a person who who has done horrible things, and that will not be swept under the rug and forgotten like in the show.

And Pomni's role with him is significantly different. She's not going to try and "fix" him. She's not going to enable him. She's going to actively try and work against him, to be the positive where he's the negative. And she's going to inspire Gangle and Ragatha, to remind them they're people, and not just Jax's toys.

In the beginning of TADC, Pomni receives a heavy amount of attention and acts like a main character, with other characters such as Kinger, Gangle, and Jax getting episodes centered around them. Since the show initially focuses a lot on Pomni's and Ragatha’s relationship, this leads to people believing the latter is another MC or at least a deuteragonist, especially since Jax isn’t treated as important until episode 6. He spent the first four episodes being a supporting character and only starts getting more attention in episode 5. 

From episode 6 onward, Jax starts consuming the show, leading to the rest of the cast being shafted in favor of him. Almost everything is about him and his trauma and problems; we even learn most of his backstory while we get fragments of everyone else’s. Even Pomni, who’s the other MC, is downgraded to an accessory of Jax’s character, and spends the remainder of the show trying to save him from himself.
