I imagine that the mecha specifically can’t feel physical arousal. So mentally there could be plenty of attraction and arousal but like anonmaxchaos said, there’s no outlet. There’s no systems in their frames for sexual acts and that disconnect would probably lead to a decent amount of frustration.

What I can see happening is those of them with partners, like Jazz with Prowl, end up very focused on their partner because it’s pretty much the only outlet they can get. There’s no physical satisfaction because there’s no physical systems, but they can get a mental sense of satisfaction.

So Adam is as promiscuous as he is in canon, always going from one woman to the next, bragging about how great he is in bed, etc etc all that. Of course people often judge him for this, especially because of the type of woman he goes after.

Short, thin, young looking, blonde, pale, those are the traits he always looks for. He’s often called shallow and rude whenever he doesn’t spare any woman outside of those categories more than a glance.

But there’s actually a much deeper reason for his draw to those traits, and it’s because they’re the exact opposite of Eve. Back when he first started becoming more promiscuous he would go for woman who looked more like her. Tall, broad, dark brown and red hair, darker skin, but every time he brought one to bed he was overwhelmed by grief for his wife. Every time all he wanted was to feel her belly and breasts softened from pregnancy and nursing, her stretch mark and scar covered skin, look into her weathered, wrinkled face, and kiss her graying red-brown hair.
