We got our wonder starter. Chikorita is honestly my favorite of the three. I can't pass up a dino!
And we got our rival!
I headcanon that Giovanni had an affair with a Typhlosion working at the lab. He promptly abandoned his family when he learned it resulted in an egg.
Silver had no idea most of his childhood, but felt like an outcast anyway. He was a major bully, especially to Oleander.
At the start of the game, he was finally told of his father and ran away from home to seek him out.
My wrapped/recap this year
Funny Glass Animals is still .1 cause I HATED their new album. I pretty much only listen to How To Be A Human Being and Zaba 😭. I also expected alt-J to be higher. Coldplay and Bastille are a real curvball tbh!
The top 5 songs is really interesting. I get hyper fixated on a song and play it on repeat, so that's not really accurate haha
Wolfquest - Thistle
Back at it, drawing my wolves!
Our nervous girl, Marrow, couldn't resist the pull of her instincts anymore, so she began seeking out a mate. She was very wary; she hadn't been around other wolves in months. She had to admit, she was tired of braving hunts on her own.
Thistle was one of the first wolves she met. His face scars immediately caught her eye; perhaps he'd also been through something traumatic. Something they could connect over. She did like Thistle, but she wanted to meet a few others before making a decision.
She traveled for days, meeting more wolves than she could count. But Thistle was still bright in the back of her mind. She regretted turning him down.
And so she sought him out. But after days of searching, she was losing hope. Until she caught a hint of his scent on the wind.
Thistle proved to be a jovial mate, quite the opposite of Marrow's reserved calm. He was decently confident, and the two hunted well. They soon settled down as Marrow gave birth to their beautiful litter of five. Four boys, one little girl.

Whew, I actually played until the start of Young Hunters, so I have a lot of drawing to catch up on! Hopefully I’ll find more time to catch up with my little pack. I’ve actually bumped them up to the new Unforgiving difficulty, and it’s been a little rough!
Windclan Allegiances
I'm not sure why I did these guys first, especially since I haven't even designed their clan ref. That will come soon, I've just had a lot going on in my personal life (+ lots of comic work on my other blog) and haven't gotten around to drawing.
This rewrite will have Tallstar (Renamed Lark), Bluestar (renamed Rain), Crookedstar, and Yellowfang as the main characters, as their super editions take place roughly around the same time.
Anyway, with that aside, here's everyone in WC right now. Anyone who does not have a bio will get one eventually.
Notes
Windclan is the most friendly towards outsiders. Many cats have one outsider parent.
White fur is uncommon and is often considered undesirable as it stands out a lot on the moors.
Windclan is currently the only clan to keep a livestock of domestic hares and thus has a Shepherd rank.

Big cat clans rewrite - Riverclan
Descended from the ancient Jaguarclan, these cats have a natural affinity for water. Their coats are short but very thick. It's also oilier than usual to keep out water. Their legs are shorter, but very muscular and strong, allowing them to swim through even the most extreme currents. Their ears are small and rounded. They’re known to have extra chub on their bodies, which keeps them warm in the water. All Pure-Blooded Riverclan cats possess a jaguar roseted pelt.
Jaguar spots are an offshoot of tabby marking. It is a dominant gene and is written as JA/ja. All pure-blood cats have two copies. This gene is a modifier that turns any tabby pattern into rosettes.
Wolfquest - Marrow
Took a break from drawing cats to doodle my current wolf.
This is my cautious girl on a new accurate save file. Her lore is she was mauled by coyotes as a pup and was barely clinging to life when her parents got to her.
She had a ton of trouble learning to hunt due to her non-functional eye making her uncoordinated. She felt like a dead weight to her family and left the pack not long before the years litter was born.
She's lived a rough year on her own, not having the courage to try her luck at the elk on her own. Now that she's become an adult, she's searching from a mate of her own to quell her deep loneliness.
She's deadly afraid of coyotes which will pose an interesting challenge for her when she has pups of her own.
Big cat clans rewrite - Shadowclan
Descended from the fierce Tigerclan, Shadowclan cats are stocky with shorter, broad muzzles and semi-rounded ears. They are most commonly longhaired. Their defining feature is their tiger-like stripes. These are unique as they will remain dark in color, regardless of the color beneath them. These stripes will even show over white markings.
Tiger markings are an offshoot of tabby. It is a dominant gene and is written as Ti/ti. All pure blooded cats have two copies.
The darkened tiger markings can come in any tabby pattern.

In this AU, the apprentices/kits only go by a prefix. No -paw or -kit
The ranks also have different names:
Leader ➡️ King/Queen/Monarch [Addressed as 'your Grace']
Deputy ➡️ Duke/Duchess/Dux [Addressed as 'my Lord/Lady/Lory']
Med cat ➡️ Mage
Warrior ➡️ Knight
Apprentice ➡️ Squire
A new rank is also added, being Thane. Thanes are chosen as candidates for the next Dux. When the current Dux dies, retires, or ascends to Monarchy, the clan will vote to decide which of the Thanes will take the position.

Big cat clans rewrite - Thunderclan
Descended from the imposing Lionclan. These cats are the tallest in the territory with an average build. They have long, silky coats, tufted ears, and flowing tails. Like their ancestors, Thunderclan tom cats will grow a thick mane. Molly’s are also capable of growing manes, but it’s quite rare.
Manes are completely separate from fur length genes. It is a dominant gene and is written as Ma/ma. All pure-bred cats have two copies.
Manes can vary a lot in style. Some common variants are 'Barbary' and 'Sparse'

I was listening to music and got hit with such an intense mental image that it had to come out. This took about 2 and a half days with around 70 pieces of art. This is my first ever time making a PMV so sorry if its a little scuffed. This was really difficult but also really fun to work with the lasso tool. I'm also working on a possible Clangen blog using the lasso tool style if I can find time :)

-When will you have (latest book)?
Normally within a month of it being officially released.
-What happened to the sites? Why are they on Google Drive now?
I ran out of space on the sites! I created the sites through Google, and there’s only a set amount of storage space given on Google Sites unless I wanted to pay for extra, which I didn’t. All books are on Drive now.
-What program will I need to read them?
I would suggest Adobe Reader, as the files are in PDF form, and Reader is the default PDF program. It’s a free download from the Adobe site, and is available for Mac and PC, as well as being free in the App Store/Google Play Store if you don’t have the program already.
-How do I download the books to my computer/phone/tablet?
Once you get to the page that has the book you want, there should be a small arrow on the right-hand-side of the page. Click/Tap the arrow, and the download should start.
-Are the files safe to download?
Yes! I’ve tested and uploaded all the files myself.

I made a little diagram in my spare time to show different sizes of animals in warriors, since a lot of the time I see them depicted too big or too small. This is just Averages though, sometimes they can be much smaller or bigger than shown but typically these are going to be how big your animals are compared to cats. Feel free to use for reference!
