For the record, I don’t like either. I think both are terrible but people are so quick to blackwash because they think its more diverse or something is what I was saying.

Also, there is no way in hell it’s right to edit someone else’s art without permission. Like, how would you feel if someone took your art and made it into what they wanted because they thought it was morally right in their mind without hesitation or thought of what the op wanted.

Jeez people always got to cry about something on this site. Okay, yes Marina is lighter than she is in-game, but so what. Are you gonna cry about her being a few tones lighter? It’s literally just the style of the art, the art is beautifully made and I love whoever is drawing it’s work. If you want to complain about every little thing, how about the fact that Pearl literally looks white, like the color. Everything in that top photo is lighter than it needs to be but I still think it looks neat. Just let whoever wants to draw their stuff like this alone. People here on tumblr like to black wash all the time but that’s apparently okay? I’m all for defending what things should originally be and stuff but this isn’t even bad. She is still black like what the hell. Stop trying to be some hero of some fantasy that doesn't exist, you aren't saving anything, you are not helping anyone.
