Between Christmas cafe sales, preparing gifts, and general household malfeasance, Cris might have not had enough time to rest.

On one hand, its none of his business. He understood that people get exhausted.

Buuut.. On the other hand, it's kind of dangerous to leave a guy asleep, alone, in a public area.

Sunny just shrugged and shook Cris gently.

"uh.. Hey dude..? It's truly none of my business, but I don't think it's a safe choice to sleep out here?"

Nothing. No response.

If Sunny listened closely, he could faintly hear Cris softly snoring. He looked a little disheveled, honestly. His hair was frazzled and messy, deep bags under his sunken eyes, and brows furrowed like a man who had a lot to think about even when in a deep sleep.

Even after being shaken, it didn't wake him up. Not to worry, because he was still breathing. Faintly, but still.

Again, it doesn't prove to be of any help. The most Sunny gets from his efforts is a slight flinch, but it really does appear that Cris has been knocked out cold.

... There was the option to just leave him there to catch up on sleep. In a league of spider superheroes, it doesn't seem likely that anyone would up and steal his stuff. Probably.

well, he didn't have much to do. today was a gloomy day, so he could just wait till the other boy woke up. Sunny just sat across from the sleeping spider, grabbing his journal.

while he waited, he could think about new patrol routes, or literally anything to get his mind off this depressing day. Sunny glanced at Cris before sketching.

The woman just. Stared at this small, clearly confused animal in Sunny's hands. It couldn't have been older than 6 weeks. Bridge was hard-pressed to want to keep the animal considering she was about to set off on a voyage into a whole other dimension in about three hours, and not to mention there were very clear rules set about keeping wild animals in any of the dorms of Spider H.Q.--much less anywhere else in the facility--after a certain... Incident.

"... I am..."

Bit she can't deny the younger spider, that would be rude considering the gesture. Was it an odd present to give? Certainly. But that likely wouldn't offend Sunny any less. Outstretched hands move in to retireve the little mammal from his, the creature sniffing at the synthetic skin with wide-eyed curiosity.

"... Grateful for this gift. Thank you."
