And then suddenly the madness! the tears! the desperation to get tickets! the insistence that you’ve loved this version of him all along! ALL WE WANT IS ANOTHER HS DISCO DANCE SUMMER! COME BACK MY LOVE!! I GET IT NOWWWWW!!!

And when it comes, you better bet your ass I’m going to reblog this ask over, and over, and over, and over with every new record he breaks, and every new award he wins.

And if that doesn’t happen? If he is in his flop era? If he finally, finally, finally becomes an obscure indie artist that no one wants to listen to? Catch me at Wembley, alone in the front row, relieved I didn’t even have to think about taking a day off from work to queue for tickets for once in my goddamn fangirl existence.

Well, I hope I don’t follow you. Or anyone who thinks this way. I don’t understand being a larrie and being resentful toward either of them. Or wishing either does poorly. I don’t understand being resentful towards them period, but especially as a larrie.

Like, follow me here… if you’re a larrie, you believe they’re together. You can prefer Louis’ music (or even Louis, as a person). But if you believe they’re together, you have to agree that they planned everything together. Right? So what you’re saying is you think you know better than they do what is best for them or their careers.

Also, I’m confused by your statement that Harry isn’t doing well.

I think he’s doing just fine.

And I think Louis is doing really well, too. He’s given some amazing opportunities he hasn’t grown with his other albums. I’m so happy for him.

I think it’s great that your dash is full of Louis and his album. It’s an album drop. There are twelve songs to listen to and talk about and he’s doing a bunch of performances and interviews. Harry dropped one song. If you can’t handle that, maybe just focus on what makes you happiest.

At this point we need to remember a few things:

no one, more than his friends and family, has the right to talk about Liam, especially if this is made to honor him;

we will never know what Liam would have wanted after his death (people remembering and talking about him or not);

everyone has its way to handle grief.

I am not against people who speak publicly about their pain and their grief because we live in a world where there are externalizing people and internalizing people; there are people who need to talk "loudly" about what they are going through and there are people who prefer to process everything "silently". And both these ways are totally right. If someone speaks publicly about pain, it's not an attention seeker automatically; if someone chooses to stay silent, it's not a careless person. IMO what makes the difference is the purpose you want to gain and the way you talk about someone. Louis didn't make his grief for Liam a trait of his personality. He talked briefly about one of his best friends. Nothing of what he said seems exagerated or fake or made-up or pathetic. Tbh he was very respectful.

However “No questions” did make me laugh. As if an illegal deal was being made.

That is the most idiotic premise for an article. On so many levels. As if not being able to pay Harry Lambert was the one thing holding back Harry’s artistic expression. 🤣
