It’s crazy how you have to be careful with how much love you show.

When someone tells you, they don’t have the capacity to show up for you, don’t get upset. they just gave you the gift of clarity through their honesty. now you can adjust your boundaries accordingly with no hard feelings. that’s true freedom.

Maturity is seeing someone's lack of effort as their lack of interest in you, regardless of what they say. Manipulation is when they give you all of the right words, but all of the wrong actions. If they wanted to, they would. Period.
