oh also this all started because I drew Homer as John SIlver and was trying to draw Bart as Jim, thank god some good came out of this clearly cursed image

Proportions are something you need to have in mind while drawing. With time and practice it’s going to be easier to get them right, your eyes will notice the mistakes, remembering about proportions will be more natural. Draw from life and references, do gesture drawing but keep it small so you can’t add any details. It’ll help you focus on proportions and gestures rather that anything else.

How are penguins not extinct?

I’m not the best at drawing or painting hair, but someone on instagram requested that I make a post about it so hopefully this will help someone! This is the first of 3 tips I’m going to share.

My piece for the #DamesArtShow at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland, curated by Squared Co! Opening show was last night and it will be up till November 4th. The show focuses on women in pop culture that inspire us, and Belle has always been an inspiration for me. Being an individual, staying true to yourself, and having the courage to adventure to far off places and face the beasts of the world. For this piece I was also very much inspired by the “Stories” sequence in Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas :P Love that movie haha. Wanted to draw Belle like she was the hero in one of her books.
