holy moly!

It’s really that simple.

Don‘t mind me recycling my own doodle. 😂 I‘m still in a bit of a rough spot, life-wise, and I have troubles getting back into drawing and writing BUT these two are on my mind a LOT these days and what can I say… sometimes giving myself a gentle little push and just sit down and draw does the trick!

This is Jett and Cal's teenage selves, obviously, they are around the same age here, 17/18ish. Jett is almost 4 years older than Cal, so it‘s her in 2001/2002 and him in 2005/2006. And oh boy, how they would NOT have gotten along if they had met back in the days. Wasn‘t possible anyway, Jett is English and only moved to Scotland as an adult but also because of the little age gap. She would probably just have yelled some profanities at him if they had lived in the same area. 😂

I‘ve been spinning their story in my head a little in the past few days and while the pieces fall together slowly, I love what this is becoming. It‘s a bit chaotic, we have commitment issues in the mix but also some serious affection. Let‘s just say that poor Miss Jones isn‘t used to having actual romantic feels for someone else. I dunno, I love them. 💖😂

I think a LOT about Lowell and Kip - The Early Years and need to get into that more because… aaaaah! 😭 This is also one of those „once in a lifetime“ shots Mama Foster managed to take of her son+grandson… it's hard to get Lowell to act like a human being when a camera is around. 😂

Bonus:

Valentine's Day 2006 - Hallie and Lance are sharing a giant cup of ice cream and talking about this and that... until an overzealous waitress comes along. She's taking polaroid snapshots of the guests that day, as a fun little V-Day gimmick, and this couple of teenagers looks just so lovely!

Hallie and Lance aren't even a couple at the time but the woman doesn't know and... does it even matter? Their vibe is just right and it'll take them just a few more months to realise. 💖
