Carrie Fisher began journaling at the age of 12, fostering a life-long love affair with words which eventually led to her status as a best-selling novelist renowned for her dark, witty humor and no-holds-barred take on reality. As an unashamed advocate for mental health awareness, she openly discussed her personal struggles with bi-polar disorder and addiction, working tirelessly to reduce the stigma around mental illness.
To carry on Carrie’s legacy, I’ve begun designing journal covers inspired by her life, quotes, and writing. 100% of profits will be donated to The Thalians, a charitable organization dedicated to mental health causes which was co-founded by Carrie’s mother, Debbie Reynolds, in 1955.
