Project 3 Translation – Process

I was given the box template #2 and with that I had cut it apart in random shapes and rearrange and build a new structure out of it. It couldn’t resemble a shape that suggests a box or a container.

Project One: Unit Variation

For our first project, we had to fold 50 structures out of plain white print papers. It took a while (11h) but it was a fun experience.

I chose my top five structures based on visual aesthetic when translated into 2D.

Then I had to create an infographic with the 50 images of the structures I made emphasizing my top five choices. I based my infographic on the timeline of the paper structure making process.
