Reminder that it really doesnβt matter what ways youβre marginalized, if youβre not black youβre just as capable of anti blackness as white cishet people. No amount of βbut Iβm gay!β, βbut Iβm trans!β, or βbut Iβm not white!β changes that.
And being neurodiverse/disabled isnβt an excuse for anti blackness either.

Iβd fucking love it if white people didnβt use this post to pat themselves on the back. I guarantee that no amount of βdonβt people know this already?β or βisnβt this obvious?β will actually make you a good ally to black people.
The only things that will make you a good ally to us is listening to us, boosting our voices, defending us when we need it, calling out your fellow whites when they display overt and/or covert racist behavior, and checking yourself consistently.
