Alright y'all, the tyongf in me is about to jump out. I woke up itching to listen to the song this morning and I was not disappointed.
This album is an absolute masterpiece and I love how we got all different types of vibes from each song, and you can obviously tell that he's passionate about what he does and it’s beautiful. I love all the songs but my faves are Storm, Skii, Hot, 404 Euphoria (that song was so aggressively cancer) and WYLD.

Honestly, the entire positions album could've been added to this section. Speaking of positions, people on twitter were talking about how she's not gonna perform any songs from that album on her eternal sunshine tour and then my entire timeline was filled with tweets about positions. And what's so crazy is that I literally just re-listened to that album recently and thought it was funny that twitter went into a frenzy over that.
Anyway, that's a wrap on the TYFD playlist! I honestly love how this playlist is like 90% about The Woman's journey through her life and then the remaining 10% is just Taeyong going shalalalalalala and just being there for the ride. It's also the way i'm picturing The Woman, Taeyong and the crew doing little musical fantasy sequences like they did in Glee or some shit.
Before I close this out, I do wanna give you guys an update on some upcoming content!
A new fic is currently in the works right now and it should be out in the summertime hopefully around June or July.
Obviously you guys will get some petals because those are just so fun to write.
There will be no more chaotic analysis discussions for right now since I did two of them back to back. I already mentioned this in the previous CA post, but the next one won't be out until the end of this year or in 2027.
Last thing. I'm going to try and release a full length Halloween fic this year. I've had this account for four years (soon to be five) and I keep saying i'm gonna have a Halloween extravaganza here and I always end up capping. I have posted small things, but I always ended up deleting them because I thought they were meh lmao. I really think you guys are gonna enjoy what I have planned for that, so stay tuned! Okay, but can you imagine how insane the events of early Jem are from the view of the Starlight Girls?
Okay, you've landed yourself in a pretty nice situation with the Bentons. Mr. Benton and his daughters are alright, Mr. Benton owns a record label so sometimes you get to meet the acts he has signed and stuff, and Kimber lets you play around with her makeup and clothes (Aja and Shana are cool too). It's Mrs. Baily who's really running the show, but... it's nice.
Then Mr. Benton dies, and everything kinda falls apart. Jerrica's barely out of uni and Kimber's barely out of high school, and Mr. Benton's been kinda letting house repairs slide, and Ashley is being SUCH a bitch about everything, and you're pretty sure that if one more thing in the house breaks, Jerrica's gonna call all your social workers and have you moved to another home, so you're all getting together to try and raise money by doing chores for the neighbors so you can bribe Jerrica with a new fridge (but Ashley is continuing to be a bitch).
Also something weird is going on at the record label, and Jerrica's signed a new act that's mostly her sisters but also this new chick? She's nice, but you don't like the way Rio looks at her.
Then the house burns down, and you're pretty sure that's it, it's back to being bounced around because you're too old to be adopted-
And a guy who you later find out makes really wild movies with drag queens (seriously, the guy with the mansion is based off John Waters) lets you move in to a mansion that's the stakes for some kind of battle of the bands, and yay! Jem and the Holograms win in spite of Ashley Being A Bitch and now Starlight House is big enough that you don't even have to share rooms, which is AWESOME. Some of you still do, cause you've never slept alone before and it wasn't that long ago that some weirdo broke into your house and, y'know, burned it down.
Less awesome is things get weird and awkward because Rio is so obviously cheating on Jerrica with Jem, and Jerrica's hardly ever around anymore, and you think maybe Jem lives in the mansion? But you're not sure, and Kimber, Aja, and Shana act like they've known her forever but you only started seeing her around after Jerrica signed her.
And you can't take Ba Nee to the mall anymore because she latches on to ANY man with red hair who walks within her line of sight, and she's a nice kid but good GOD is she dumber than a sack of hair. She's, like, one bad day away from ending up a face on a milk carton, and you're tempted to slip whoever takes her a fiver to take Ashley with him.

Hot take: The best episodes of Jem were the multiple part episodes (the jem jam, hollywood jem, stingers hit town etc.) those episodes absolutely served and the drama was unmatched.
The starbright trilogy is superior btw.
Oh definitely, the drama in the 2 parters was peak. If the show had been serialized like a soap opera it would've been absolutely nuts.
