My page in the RDR Zine with the split in the gang. Javier doesn't dare to go against his friends, but he also can't stand up to the leader, and his revolver is raised. I chose this moment because it is important to me and difficult to convey different emotions. Many people don't like Javier because he didn't go against Dutch at that moment, but I understand his decision and why he chose that path. He has a kind heart that led to his downfall, but this moment doesn't make him a villain. He did everything he could within the boundaries of his morality by not shooting Arthur and showing his utmost loyalty to his ideals.
