It was just me and a new guy at the gym today so we were practicing basic stuff, Americanas and arm bars. But he was learning so our coach was really showing him how to get his technique right. Which means both of my shoulders and both my elbows are killing me. And I have ! Big day at work tomorrow 🥲

What a lot of stupid assholes dont understand is that when you write a song you need a big drum that goes BAM! BAM! BAM!

Was looking at martial arts gyms in Ottawa and theres one thats like a traditional Japanese cultural club centered around martial arts. They advertise that they have classes for jujutsu, iaido, aikido, and karate. Iaido is cool but kinda useless, aikido is a pure sham, (shotokan) karate is more kata than kumite *yawn* but Japanese jujutsu is pretty interesting (its basically Judo, a super legit martial art with a big competitive scene). But I looked into it a little deeper and they don't teach jujutsu. They don't even teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They teach some shit that some British guy came up with in the 90s called Jitsu, which i looked into and it seems like some krav maga bullshit. So they're super committed to japanese martial arts as cultural exchange, except for the one that I would be going there for, which is some la-la-land shit that nobody's ever heard of. Wtf!
