Random Facts about Leverett
Phillip is the first "friend" Leverett has had outside of Pipkin. He doesn't know how to do this whole friend thing but is learning.
He is aware of Howard and is incredibly jealous of him due to the fact that Howard was Phillip's friend first.
Leverett has a hard time expressing emotion. Most of the time he has a neutral sleepy look on his face. If he were angry or sad you wouldn't be able to tell.
He would luv Watershipdown. In fact his plush bunny is named after a character in the book!
His favorite color is pink.
His favorite food is carrot cake. But God help you if you put raisins in there...
Phillip compares Leverett to Howard in some aspects, that being that they are opposites. While Howard is confident and self assured, Leverett constantly questions himself and often makes self-deprecating jokes towards himself. But both Leverett and Howard unintentionally end up using Phillip as an emotional anchor.
Leverett didn't know his parents all that well. Ashamed of his odd nature, they often stuck him with his grandfather to keep him out of the public eye. His grandfather was the one who inspired his luv for rabbits and encouraged him to apply for a job on Morose's island. Leverett luvs his grandfather but could never see or remember his face correctly.
Speaking of the face thing; it's a big thing he struggles with. He can't see or remember faces clearly. They are all a jumbled mess to him. Until he met Phillip. At first he was unnerved by how clearly he could see Phillip but quickly grew attached. Oddly enough, he can also see Howard clearly. He hates this fact. A lot.
He truly believes Pipkin is alive and wonders why only he can hear the plush rabbit talking. Leverett has had Pipkin ever since he was a baby.
Leverett actually doesn't care much for Morose. He doesn't look up to the scientist and finds him annoying. He is only on the island because his grandfather told him to. And he would have left if he hadn't met Phillip.
His sleep schedule is awful. He is awake for random hours of the night and often gives his colleagues heart attacks when they run into him wandering around in the dark with Pipkin.
His favorite breed of domesticated rabbit is the Flemish Giant. And his favorite wild breed is the Antelope Jackrabbit.
One of his "odd" habits is talking without rhyming. Instead he speaks in blunt and short sentences.
