You are being homophobic because you are purposefully attempting to erase my, a queer person’s, feelings and words.
He literally did erase people’s identities, several times. I could go off on a list but let’s remember the Girl Almighty incident, where: He implied that an entire stadium of women can’t understand what it’s like to fall for another woman and then ignored people’s hurt and made it about himself, and also: This interview, where he said he doesn’t think about sexuality at all, which is erasure in and of itself.
If he doesn’t know what Rainbow Direction is, it is HIS responsibility, as someone with that much of an audience, to LOOK IT UP before speaking out on it. Finding the non-shipping policy ain’t that hard.
We have TRIED to educate. People have tweeted things at him, and written lengthy, calm blog posts on a website he has access to. I’m calling him homophobic because that’s what he is. There’s nothing wrong with calling someone out.
Do not tell me to stop being dramatic. I am hurt, and my feelings are valid, and you are being inherently homophobic by attempting to shut that down and silence me.
Most of the signs/flags do not have Larry on them. Some do.
But do you think all of them do??? No, WTF, Rainbow Direction’s non-shipping policy is CLEAR.
