Taken for Power

“ ‘A Deadly Stabbing Turned Miracle’.” A light glows softly from their servo as they begin reading from a data pad, “ ‘A femme is credited for saving the life of a stabbing victim. Onlookers stated she rushed over as light poured out from her frame like a prophet of Primus sent to save our planet’. ” They look up at her and she freezes, the light from the data pad finally illuminating their face.

“M.. Megatron..” She whispers, optics growing wide as his words begin to sink deep into her processor. While she doesn’t remember the incident, she’s been told what occurred many, many times.

“ ‘Authorities responded to the call but upon arrival, the victim had no life threatening injuries. The femme left before Police came on scene’. ”

“How.. how did you.. find that?”

“It’s all over the Data Net, dear femme..” His tone makes it seem like he’s stating the obvious but.. That was years ago, it should’ve been buried underneath millions of other reports after that time. “I’m intrigued by this… ‘gift’ you have…” He steps closer, the room almost quaking as he moves and she feels small compared to his imposing frame. “I want it..”

Bio:

Raya, Skyblazer’s Carrier, died shortly after she was sparked so her father, Fallup, took care of her with the help of his closest friend, and Skyblazer's soon-to-be mentor, Ratchet. The femme grew in the knowledge of her father as well as her teacher.

When she reached the age of 16, she met a mech at Cybertronian tech known as Revup. She grew close to him but at the same time, her powers began to show; healing wounds with one touch. While it was quite a sight, Skyblazer didn’t remember this happening and she couldn’t make herself use this new found gift. She was pulled out of the school and given a private tutor, even though she never showed any more signs of the gift. Soon, she returned to a normal routine and started her job assigned under the caste system. She began to shadow Ratchet at the clinical hospital in Iacon, earning high praise for her berth-side manner and steady servos.

But when Orion became Optimus and the war started, Fallup became ill with the Cybonic plague and asked if Ratchet would not only be her teacher but take care of her as well. Ratchet agreed, putting Fallup's anxiety to ease. He passed within the next hour.

Megatron, who had started the planet-wide war, had heard of the femme and her powers through The Grid and became intrigued and ordered her brought to the warship after Soundwave discovered her identity. There, she was tortured for months and yielded herself to the Decepticons out of fear and pure exhaustion. To ensure she had no way of escape or to defend herself, Megatron tore her cog from her frame right then and there and because Seekers tend to go insane without flying for a period of time, Shockwave was instructed to formulate something to keep her within her wits. This stimulant took months to make, almost all tests ending with her in excruciating pain or rapid shutdown to protect her systems until she was given a nasty looking vial of green and black liquid that couldn't quite mix. She doses every month.

She was monitored and given restricted access to all systems except for medical records so she could continue her function for Megatron’s use until she was able to use her powers once more.

She slaved away for him for decades, taking any abuse in the hope that one day she’d finally be free. A slight relief came after Megatron left in search of Dark Energon, ordering Starscream to have the ship stay hidden and for the Decepitcons to keep a low profile. Unfortunately, high grade is much too tempting to bots almost at the end of their rope. So she drank. Her actions and the coincidence of another bot also taking to the cube, lead to them becoming entangled with each other.

The femme was the first one awake after the drunk encounter, slipping out of the berth room and to her own to assess the damage. At this point, she could already see it was bad… Their sparks merged, swirls of red and white mixed in with her normal blue and pale yellow. Before panic could really set in, she was interrupted by a reminder to make it to her post in the medical bay.

Intending to keep this a secret until she went to the grave, she told no one of what happened between her and the Commander of the Decepticons until everything started to make her feel queasy. Her workload almost became unbearable as she would find it difficult to wake up for the day and stay awake at her station. It wasn’t until she was forced to evaluate herself that the reason why was discovered; she was sparked. She knew she couldn't keep this a secret any longer whether she liked it or not.

   After confessing to Starscream that the sparkling she carried was his, he made a deal of sorts: fake being in a relationship for now so people wouldn't figure out it was a drunken one night stand and he would let her raise the little one in peace. Fortunately, emotions are a little hard to control. They both became attached to each other the more the sparkling, Stellar, grew before birth and soon it was no longer just a deal..

((So this was inspired by a post I saw asking what would happen for a character to get an 'end screen/credits play'. It was supposed to be funny (I didn't realize until later) but of course I went a darker route 😂 It's also been a long time since I've drawn traditionally 😩

The idea is that instead of Skyblazer staying unknown after her episode of spontaneously healing someone, she was found immediately afterwards and experimented on. This is how they figure out she has a shard of Micronus Prime's Chimera Stone within her. I figured it could also tie into the other pictures I have of Sky that have her tainted with Dark Energon.
