Coherent live sets from four artists each month, second Thursdays (apart from the first one haha) in the fantastic venue in backstreet Digbeth, Dead Wax - they're music lovers, they have a great rig in there and it'll be a super night of live electronic music. For the launch we have a solid lineup with: @lifeisfeedback - Benjamin Chilton who knows more modular than any of us, because he works in one of the UK's best stocked modular shops, @elevatorsoundbristol @kaila_whyte aka @_blueruth who's killing it recently with support from @supersonic_fest and a @stumaconie Freakzone session. @handmadesound John Biddulph is a stalwart of modular and an accomplished composer with his psychogeographical sketches. He also happens to be the first resident modularist at BMO for 6 months - let us know if you want to be the next... @wilf.rake is a new local to brum, one half of Cornish duo @artemis_themoonman and label boss at @localnetwork.records - he's been signing modular acts! Happy birthday to me!! I was given an awesome print of this. Then I gave it away to DJ Skirt. Then found out there were none left printed in that manner. It had red blood style splatters, it was great. @irrational_media did some more versions for a recent music industry meet in Birmingham, so I was cheeky and asked. Whoop!! Day two of the build at the shambala festival and we’ve already built our electro dome and back stage area. Flooring, staging and audio ready to go. 360deg visual from projectors are just being set up. Pa arrives tomorrow. Festival starts on Friday.
