What clique do you think Shiggy and Dabi would be in if they were in hs/college? And what kinda student would they both be?
this is a good question honestly, and after some fair debate in my mind about it, here’s what i came up with— also dont mind me casually changing things up because i’m an inconsistent prick and unable to choose just one form of something (talking about my layout and format for answering asks):
(for starters, in this setting i’m making both dabi and shigaraki roommates)
Shigaraki:
more of a goody-goody, especially in college because afterall theres money involved in that shit and who wants to waste it??
he’s very studious, he’s working constantly on school and probably takes half of his classes online so he can have more private time to himself to work on stuff
he might not be the most organized and quite frankly loses stuff, but somehow always ends up with perfect grades
don’t ask him for help though, it annoys him. figure it out yourself or get a tutor. he doesn’t have all the time in the world
tomura is smart as fuck after all, i cant see him not absolutely thriving in college education wise. he might be a weirdo sometimes but he stays on top of his stuff
he enjoys college, he actually has friends here. not like high school
he definitely is more quiet, and in high school i have no doubts he would get picked on for stuff
he probably had a very small friend group in high school, maybe just online friends
in college though, i feel like he’d make a lot more friends, (basically just dabi)
tomura is probably apart of some esports team at school
or robotics club, something involved with technology or gaming
all in all, i think the two of them would become friends and shigaraki, despite being an absolute lonely nerd in high school would be apart of the stoners/dealers, or the party animals
but as i said, in high school he was probably an outcast. disliked
he probably starts partying after a shit ton of pure pressure from dabi after a while, and that’s how people begin to notice him around campus. after he has some drinks in him, he gets really bubbly and nice
i don’t think girls like him much, he’s too shy and they get judgemental over it. dabi tries to help but keeps calling him a “lost cause”

Dabi:
dabi would most definitely be the same little rebellious, angsty brat he still is
his dad paid for his entire college experience, and even slipped some under the table to get him in there, but he still doesn’t try hard with school
i mean after all, he literally despises enji
who cares if he goes in debt for him? not dabi
i don’t think he spends nearly as much time or effort as tomura on school, i honestly think he manipulates tomura or pays him to do his homework sometimes
or sometimes he finds a sweet, gullible quiet girl on campus to get to do his homework
despite all that, he’s pretty smart and does decently well on his tests, even though he barely studies or anything
his grades aren’t perfect, but they’re enough to get him to progress
in high school, i feel he was kind of in the same type of clique. full of stoners, dealers, rebels, and people who lived to party
i could see him skipping class constantly, smoking joints or cigs behind the school with his friends, going to abandoned places to tag shit, being disrespectful to his teachers— just being an absolute menace
he probably always broke their dress code too, no doubt
all in all, i think in college the rebellion lessened. he stopped being so aggressive about things, and just kind of had fun with it
sure he doesn’t tolerate anything he deems disrespectful from anyone, and he’ll be the first to tell a security officer to go fuck themselves over even a greeting— he’s not skipping out, and constantly getting in trouble anymore
he’s not apart of any club, maybe besides one he doesn’t ever have to show up at, and it looks good on his transcript
he’s not interested in much that has to do with school, probably besides science or history
i think he’d start becoming popular with the ladies more too, especially because of his natural charming, mysterious, and aloof nature
he usually talks to these girls at parties, typically where he meets everyone he knows. after all, dabi is practically the life of the party, and he knows how to brighten the mood of any group of people
league of villains playing minecraft
(ive been playing a lot of minecraft lately and for some reason thought of this)
shigaraki: only plays in creative, builds big castles and structures, searches tutorials on youtube. okay at redstone and likes building automated farms. doesnt like playing on servers and hes extremely perfectionistic about how things should look, so playing with the other lov members is not an option either. hes extremely bad at pvp because if he holds the mouse properly it will crumble
dabi: does redstone in survival, has very practical builds, doesnt like how easy creative mode is. has very good layouts and has an organised chest system and an automatic chest sorter. also a fan of automated farms, but again, builds them completely in survival no cheats. probably does all this in hardcore mode, wins in pvp every time, except with toga which is 50/50
toga: likes setting up op gear, a base and an army of monsters in creative and then goes into survival mode to slay them all. shes surprisingly good at building bases and she likes faction servers, only teams up with the best of the best. she also LOVES making her own skins and changes it frequently, also very good at pvp
twice: he plays on multiplayer with toga or goes onto random servers and tries to chat with random people in the chat. not very good at the game but makes friends with people easily and other players often take pity on him, so he usually ends up with pretty good gear that he does not know how to use. he doesnt like pvp and also sucks at it
kurogiri: the only one shigaraki will play with. pretty good at following how shigaraki wants things to look like. he doesnt know how to do work the game properly doe, literally only knows how to open the inventory, move around, and place and destroy blocks bc shigaraki taught him for 5 hours straight
magne: she goes onto servers and chats with people, everyone loves her and she is the big sister of every survival server she logs onto, helping everyone out and learns the rules quickly. likes building small cute houses and is good at it. avarage at pvp but doesnt rlly do it much
spinner: only does mining and fights mobs. doesnt like building but does a lot of exploring, thinks hes the pvp god but hes actually pretty average. makes new worlds every time he opens the game, has never even tried to defeat the enderdragon before. if he does make a house its just out of dirt, wood or cobblestone. often needs the help of the others on servers bc he doesnt understand the rules or mechanics
mr compress: he does pixel art in creative. he only logs on about once every three months doe , but he likes watching the others when they play. he doesnt like playing survival himself and will makes comments about how he could never stand to gather all those materials or build a house for himself. has never attempted pvp
Remus is in a very awkward situation at the bank. Specifically because the bank is being robbed and the most attractive man Remus has ever seen is being held at gun point. How is Remus going to ask him out while both of their lives appears to be in peril?

Remus Lupin should have just stayed in bed. At least that’s what he figures as he mutters, “fuck,” under his breath while his hands are getting zip-tied behind his back and he’s being forced to sit down criss-cross-applesauce on the cold marble floor of this art deco bank. All he wanted to do was deposit the cash he swindled from last night’s hook-up into his account before his rent check gets cashed and subsequently bounces. Though, perhaps his landlord will take, “My bank got robbed,” as a proper excuse as to why Remus is late on rent once again.
“Did you say something?” the watery-eyed bandit says to him as he finishes securing Remus’s hands behind his back.
Remus rolls his eyes. “I said, ‘fuck,” Remus repeats himself. “As in, ‘fuck this is an incredibly inconvenient time for me to get robbed.”
The bank robber shrugs. “Technically we’re robbing the bank, not you.”
“Do we got a hero over there, Wormtail?” the other robber calls out from the other side of the bank where he’s standing holding another patron close to his chest with a gun held to his head.
At least I’m not that guy, Remus thinks as he stares at the hostage.
“Nah,” Wormtail calls out. “This one’s too skinny to be a hero.” He checks Remus’s hands once more then moves onto the elderly lady beside Remus.
Remus lets out a sigh and squints to try and get a better look at the hostage they’ve taken. He’s surprised to see that they chose a man. And not just any man, a very gorgeous man with broad shoulders, long black waves hastily tied back and piercing silver eyes. And to make matters even more confusing, this man is taller than the other robber by at least three inches. These bank robbers obviously aren’t very smart. This man should have been the first to get zip-tied. If anybody is going to be a hero, it’s him.
“Then hurry up and get the cash and let’s get out of here!” the other robber yells.
“On it, Prongs!” Wormtail calls back as he finishes securing the last of the patrons’ and bank employees’ hands.
Remus snickers. Wormtail, Prongs. What strange names. Even if they are code names, they’re pretty stupid.
His laugh must not have been as silent as he thought, as the man being held hostage looks directly at him, smirks then winks. And oh boy is it sexy. How unfair. The best-looking man I’ve seen in ages is likely to be shot in front of me before I can get a date with him.
Remus lets out another sigh. Personally, he’d like these robbers to just get on with it. He half wishes they’d take him with them. For one, he could definitely use the money and for two, he most certainly doesn’t want to have to hang around all afternoon talking to the cops as they do their investigating.
Wishing for a way out of this mess and an afternoon of drudgery, Remus takes his attention back to the insanely hot hostage who looks completely unbothered at being used as a human shield and gives him a good once over, eye-fucking him from across the room. This time the man blows Remus a kiss while he winks. And thank god Remus is already seated, because if he wasn’t his knees would have completely quit their job of helping to hold Remus upright at the smoldering look the hostage is penetrating him with.
It’s so smoldering that Remus almost misses the fact that the man is whispering something to the bank robber who is holding his life in his hands. The bank robber appears to consider something.
After a few moments of thought, he speaks. “Hey, Wormtail!” he yells out causing Wormtail to pause in his raiding of the bank drawers and look over at him. “That skinny fella! Grab him on the way out! We need another hostage!”
“That wasn’t part of the plan, Prongs!”
“Well, plans have changed!” Prongs yells back as the hostage audibly laughs. “Shut it, you.”
“Sorry.” Remus hears the hostage say in a deep and sultry voice.
“Come on, skinny!” Wormtail says harshly as he lifts Remus up from the zip-ties around his wrists causing the plastic to dig into Remus’s skin. “No funny business either.”
“You won’t get any protest from me,” Remus says, his eyes locked with the other hostage who’s smiling brightly and silently reassuring Remus with a subtle nod of his head while Remus is being dragged over.
“Everyone lie face down!” the robber, Prongs, yells out once Remus and the robber, Wormtail, are beside him and the other hostage at the door. “Then count to one hundred before you rise. Not a minute sooner! Or we will shoot these hostages!”
A series of cries and pleas ring out from the remaining patrons and employees, but Remus barely pays attention as he’s too busy making eyes at his fellow hostage as they are being pushed out the bank’s front door. What an unlikely place for a meet-cute.
“So, your first time being a hostage?” the other hostage asks.
“If you mean outside of a roleplay situation, then yes,” Remus flirts. “You?”
“Nah, this happens to me all the time.”
“Shut it, Padfoot,” Wormtail scolds.
“Awww, come on, Wormy. Let the horn dog have his fun,” Prongs says. “We got the money. He can secure himself a victory date if he wants to.”
“Whatever,” Wormtail says.
Remus looks at all of them confused.
“I’m with them,” Padfoot explains as they’re being pushed into a windowless work van. Once the door is closed and Prongs has jumped into the driver’s seat, the hostage, this Padfoot, cuts Remus’s wrists free, then positions Remus to sit on his lap as they begin to flee.
“So what, you just hang out in banks all day waiting for them to come in, take you hostage, and rob the place?”
“Pretty much.” Padfoot shrugs then grabs hold of one of Remus’s wrists to give it a once over. He brings it to his lips and kisses at the scratch marks. “We’re looking for a fourth if you’re interested.”
“We most certainly are not!” Wormtail protests. “That would defeat the entire purpose of being the Three Musketeers.”
“We could change our name, to the Marauders or something,” Prongs suggests from the driver’s seat as he turns out into traffic, going over a bump that bounces Remus’s deeper into Padfoot’s lap. Remus can hear the wailing sounds of the cops arriving at the bank in the distance.
“Whatever,” Wormtail says again with an annoyed huff and glares at all of them as he opens up the bag of loot and starts digging through it, presumably trying to get a tally on the score.
“So what do you say?” Padfoot whispers into Remus’s ear. “Do you want to join us?”
Remus brings one hand to his chin and purses his lips up in thought. “Let’s see how dinner between me and you goes tonight first.”
“Dinner, huh?” Padfoot says, smoothing Remus’s hair away from his eyes with rough fingertips. “Do you have any place special in mind?”
Remus looks Padfoot up and down again. “Yeah, your bed.”
