Idk about you guys but i sort of feel like i have to be good and i have to walk on my knees hundreds of miles through the desert repenting

no but im still not over the "but it lives where i live" line. when you want all the illness and suffering to be gone but it's made its home in you. and it tore down all the walls. it cut up all the furniture. it smashed all the picture frames. it snapped your bed in two. you try to sleep and it hurts. you try to have fun but everything's broken. you try to reminisce over the past, but it's painful to look at. and all the food is rotten. all that's left is for you to run away, and take the illness with you. but you stay. until it takes you, instead.
