-the line “your faithless love is the only hoax I believe in” when karlie did/does love taylor, but isn’t faithful. she also is friends with scooter braun, and has always been friendly with kim and kanye west, ect

-“I don’t want no other shade of blue” - remember that best friends interview when karlie and taylor commented on how blue each others’ eyes were?

- “You know I left a part of me back in New York” - obviously they both were besties during taylor’s era in ny

-“you knew it still hurts underneath my scars from when they pulled me apart” - karlie was friends with her when all of the kanye stuff went down, but she still was friends with sc**ter braun and kim/kanye despite understanding what they did to taylor

- “you knew the password so I let you in the door” taylor trusted karlie because they were best friends. karlie even had a bedroom in taylor’s house, so it would make sense that karlie had taylor’s actual password to a house or something and as well as to something metaphorical like her heart

-“but this was just as dark... this was just as hard” karlie didn’t do anything outright wrong, beyond not truly being loyal and standing with taylor, which to taylor was just as hurtful as anything that kanye or sc**ter did to her. because taylor was friends with karlie, but karlie refused to pick sides
