Bullet Journaling 101 by Ann
https://www.instagram.com/eggyeul/
https://www.instagram.com/lilynzst/
Konsumerismo
https://www.instagram.com/p/B-gJE-5huLy/
https://www.instagram.com/p/CBa6u0rlrky/
https://www.instagram.com/p/CKO3NKLl9Z0/

Worth it ba ang bullet journaling?
Natuto akong maging mas malikhain, maayos at responsable.

Everything's been so stressful lately ;-; always remember to take care of yourself and take a break!! āØ
If you are outside India, I am practically begging you to reblog this
Last week India passed a blatantly anti-Muslim law that seeks to naturalise millions of immigrants, except if they are Muslims.
In August of this year, India revoked the autonomous status of the Kashmir region, putting a communication blackout on the state. Kashmir has entered the fifth month of no internet and heaviest militarisation of any region in the world.
India is a secular, socialist republic. This bill is anti-constitutional and against the principles on which the country was founded
Naturally, there have been protests across the country. At the forefront of the protests are students from India's public universities.
Police opened fire on peaceful protestors in Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi, and Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh.
Ever since then, the ruling fascist Hindu nationalist political party, the BJP, has been doctoring videos and sending fake news all over the internet, discrediting protestors and labelling them as terrorists
India has already seen too much religious violence, please please signal boost this, call your representatives, make them aware, get them to make statements. The only thing India and its dictator Modi care about is its image abroad
This post is dated December, 2019 so a little update (June, 2020) since Iāve seen it on my dash a lot lately:
Amidst the raging pandemic and our Governmentās botched handling of it, GOI has found the time to book student activists under a draconian āanti terrorismā law called the UAPA.
Hereās a brief article about what exactly the UAPA is here. It was written in October last year so itās before all of this, but it highlights the ways it could be misused, and why itās a cause for concern.
Hereās another article about the same. Has proved prophetic, because our government NEVER fails to let us down!
Many student activists have been booked under UAPA, like Natasha Narwal and Devangana Kalita. Safoora Zargar, who is pregnant, has been jailed despite concerns about COVID-19 (and this being entirely under an unlawful law).
Hereās a quick twitter thread with the names of other activists booked under UAPA.
[Oh btw, in a completely different story, no charges have been made against those suspected of inciting violence at JNU. Itās under investigation, which sounds promising, but uh, weāve seen whatās happened in the past. Thereās not really a lot of hope there.]
While there are scattered protests about this, and some mild coverage from very few news channels, and people have talked about it a little, itās been lost under all the noise of the pandemic, the migrant crisis, cyclones, locust invasion and other horrors hitting the country right now. Please, please, PLEASE raise awareness about this.

ok, i just want to address this. i know iāve been posting studyblr content again. iāve also seen some people say that things seem to be going back to ānormal.ā i just want to say that NO, things are not going back to normal. and things may never go back to normal. i seriously hope that people keep up with the energy they had when these issues first went out. the fight is not over! the problem doesnāt go away just because itās not trending anymore. and honestly, all these issues surfacing now actually just prove how messed up the system was even before. the only difference is that now, people are starting to be more aware. while this is good, thereās still more to reach out!
in fact, just this morning, news broke out about UP cebu students being arrested within the campus grounds. they were violently dispersed despite it being a peaceful protest. in addition to this, six jeepney drivers were detained after protesting three days ago. instead of supporting them and understanding their situation, they were put behind bars. high ranking officials who have done worse were given compassion, but ordinary citizens crying out for help were imprisoned, fined, or even killed. beyond these two, there are also many things happening in other parts of the world, and not just the philippinesā in hong kong, USA, etc (please read about all of these issues here or here). support both local and global struggles!! injustices are happening every day. we must be aware, and be ready to do our part in fighting against them.
ok i know im such a bad writer, but i just felt the need to say this asdkdkdjakks. anyway, here are some links that i hope yall check out!

#JunkTerrorBill: On a Bill that impedes the right of the Filipino People
On May 29, the Philippine Congress approved the senate version of the the Terror Bill which posses as a major threat to freedom of speech, especially during this times when dissent in media platforms is becoming a trend for the modern-day Filipino.
(Credits to College Editors Guild of the Philippines, CEGP)
Now, you might think that this bill just happened to come around but the timing is all too convinient. The reason why dissent is rising among the masses is because the executive branch of the government has frankly done a piss poor job at handling the Pandemic. They have continued to keep us quarantined, with only those considered essential businesses allowed to remain for months. It is only now in June that they have allowed people to work as long as they keep at a skeletal system. The main problem comes down to the fact that the government has yet to implement mass testing and even contract tracing for the matter, making the quanratine lose all meaning in the first place. To add up to all this, the administration continues to accumulate debt toĀ āfight the pandemicā but claim they do not have the budget for mass testing.Ā
And to make matters worse, the head of the administration decides to fight a virus the only way heās been fighting things, with machismo and guns. There have been cases where the police overstepped their bounds under the banner ofĀ ākeeping the quarantine safeā wherein they broke into a private residential building and also a homeless shelter because these places allegedly did not follow quarantine protocols. There was also a case of a soldier killing a veteran having an episode despite the residents of the area shouting he had PTSD and to leave him be. We cannot also discount the rapid increase of the Extrajudicial Killings fueled by the executiveās drug war that pretty much rampedĀ up police brutality in the Philippines by quite a lot.
Now, this bill is giving them more power to by-pass the Judiciary which is the only thing keeping them in check. As per Rappler:Ā ā the bill would allow the Anti-Terror Council (ATC), made up of top cabinet officials, to do functions otherwise reserved for courts, like ordering the arrests of people it has designated to be terrorists.āĀ
Here are some as cited by CEGP. Below are some of the sections of Bill 1083, aka Terror Bill, although it feels rather more approriate to be called Martial Law 2.0. Below are some of the questionable provisions in the bill.
These two provisions are quite questionable as their vagueness could allow tagging of dissenters as terrorists. The head of the executive branch is actually quite fond of using mixed words and blurring the lines between dissenters who only criticize in hopes of improvement of the system as opposed to terrorists who seek to destroy it. This only adds oil to the fire, really.
Here we see that included in the wiring tapping are those individuals accused solely upon mere suspicion that would allow the police to invade our privacy just because we criticized the government a little too much more than they like. Now, there have been restrictions here either like between lawyers and clients or doctors and patients but this still stands that this is an invation of privacy,
Now Sec. 29. Detention Without Judicial Warrant of Arrest that takes the cake out of them all. Persons again tagged as terrorists by the ATC under mere suspicion can be detained for up to 24 days without a warrant, which is the first line of defense you have against a police violating your human rights. Although, if you do look up the entire provision, included is a follow up action of reporting to a court JudgeĀ āimmediatelyā, there lacks a specific timeframe around the wordĀ āimmediatelyā that again could allow the police advantage via vaugeness of this bill in their favor.Ā
The purpose of this bill is so obvious that National Union of Peoplesā Lawyers chair Neri Colmenares even spoke up, stating that ā This isnāt really to go after the Abu Sayyaf or terrorists, or whoever they call as terrorists⦠I think the reason they actually need this bill is for the dissenters, the opposition.ā (translated from Tagalog).
Save the voice of the Filipinos. Do not let them change the narrative. Hold the government accountable for their lapses. Dissent is not terrorism. Dissent is duty. #JunkTerrorBill

thereās something about living life deliberatelyā¦wearing clothes that you actually want to and that you feel reflect you and your style not just because youāve had them for years and donāt know what else you would throw onā¦.listening to songs and creating playlists that excite you and represent your actual mood not just listening to songs that youāve had downloaded for years that donāt make you feel anything special anymoreā¦itās VERY easy to stay with what youāre comfortable and it might take a bit of experimenting before you find what feels like a deliberate choice that reflects more of YOU but itās absolutely worth the leap of faith you may have to convince yourself to make to make yourself stop feeling like a passenger in your own life
