difficult to see under all the stuff but tonight’s dinner were homemade lentil meatballs with zoodles topped with homemade pesto and dollops of ricotta 🍝 made in memory of this veggie meatball appetizer i used to get all the time at one of the restaraunts i worked at

today i got a lot done!!! i’m happy with myself. i finished my phd proposal and have until monday until my mentor can provide feedback, so until then i will be compiling lists of potential advisors to send it to. i will also need to direct my attention fully to my masters proposal and make my advisors edits so i can send it to my committee ahead of our upcoming fall meeting. my head has been swimming jumping between my potential phd topic and my thesis topic, they are so different haha. i am feeling very optimistic though, i’m extremely proud of my phd proposal, especially because the idea is entirely my own and i think very valuable.

During the week I like to clean my desk in the morning as a bit of a pre-work ritual. It helps me clear my mind and prepare myself for the day ahead ☺️
